Last week I spent three days with Total access scaffolding in Bristol carrying out various safety training courses to bring them up to date and make them compliant for the next thee years. Friday was Emergency first aid at work training.
Great bunch of people that were very willing to learn.
This course consisted of the following modules
Theory session
Recovery position
Defibrillator practical session
CPR practice
Choking scenarios
Bandaging
Shock treatment
Seizures
This course was tailored to cover all the likely day to day injuries that scaffolders could be faced with and was a very enjoyable days training.
Total access scaffolding are a very professional and reliable company that I would highly recommend

Scaffolding needs inspecting every 7 days by law
Any company that has scaffolding on site should really think about booking onto one of our training courses to keep themselves legal and compliant
