Going Digital photography courses for West of England and Wales region, run by Alan Mersom. I run photography courses for leisure photographers.

These are run mainly as one day workshops. We always run these courses from locations which inspire photography, often stunning National Trust properties or town centre locations in some of our more picturesque or historic towns. We run workshops on a number of photographic themes for all levels of photographer!

Today we had a great time on our Getting Off Auto Part 2 course. In this course we recap the work on aperture priority from part one, then learn how to take control of the shutter speed. At the end of the session we had a little bit of time so decided to get a bit creative with shutter speed!

I had so much fun today and hope to see you on part 3 on March 4th.

We only have a few spaces remaining for the Elan Valley 3 day residential in November! We will be touring around the reservoirs and dams, off to see Devil's Bridge Waterfalls and visiting the red kite feeding station Gigrin Farm (The Red Kite Centre)

Busy weekend with a photo walk around in the hoofing rain and a close-up and macro course on Sunday down at !

The rain didn't stop the birds at Slimbridge though so we soldiered on and darted from cover to cover.

The macro course was super-fun with loads of interesting objects and some very creative photos from the team!

Lovely day out today on location at National Trust Tyntesfield for a Part 1 'Get off Auto' course. Perfect weather for getting out around the gardens and trying out everything that we'd learned!

Gorgeous day out yesterday on a photo walk around Clifton! Perfect weather, awesome location and we really got into the swing of things for some wonderfully creative photography!

Some lovely shots of the Kingfishers at Bradford-on-Avon, such a beautiful historic town and incredible to see these blue streaks fishing in the river 😍
