During the last school year the PTA fundraised nearly £7,000 for William Fletcher School.
That is an amazing amount of money for our small but mighty PTA volunteer team.
This was raised through events including 2 movie nights, the colour run, pancake day, Christmas shopping, Christmas artwork, the 2026 challenge, selling refreshments at plays, cake and ice cream sales and Your School Lottery.
We contributed towards 4 different coach trips, year 6 leavers photos, a visualiser, books and a £5,000 contribution towards the foundation building refurbishment over the summer.
It is the PTA that organises these fun things for the children through fundraising with the support of the school. Everywhere you look at school you will unknowingly see something that the PTA has contributed towards or organised.
There is a real risk that next week at the AGM if nobody steps up that that it will not continue. If you are interested in any of the posts chairperson, treasurer or secretary please get in touch.
