🍂 Woodland Adventures in the Senior School Woods! 🍂

Our Pre-Prep pupils have been making the most of the fresh autumn air during their recent woodland sessions!

Year 2 pupils took on an exciting team challenge to build storm-proof dens and explored the vibrant forest floor for colourful autumn leaves, while our Year 1 pupils enjoyed a wonderful 'Bear Hunt' and a bear-themed art activity.

Both days finished in true outdoor style with toasted marshmallows and warm hot chocolate, voted by many pupils as "The Best Day Ever!" ☕🔥

🔍 Our Fifth Year geographers headed to Redcar Beach to collect data and carry out practical techniques! 🔍

Pupils measured data about the beach profiles, analysed sediment with quadrats, and studied longshore drift, before wrapping up the day with hot fish and chips and a Lemon Top! 🍦

Great work from all of our geographers! 👏

🌍 "Languages Unite" – European Day of Languages Assembly 🌍

Seventeen Senior School pupils took to the lectern for our annual European Day of Languages Assembly, addressing the whole Senior School without speaking a single word of English!

Celebrating this year's theme, "Languages Unite," pupils presented and explained untranslatable words and tongue twisters across a range of languages, including German, Italian, Arabic, Portuguese, Mandarin, Russian, Kannada, Tamil, Farsi, Hindi, and Malayalam.

A huge thank you and well done to all of our inspiring speakers! 👏
