ANGEL CARE

ANGEL CARE Ofsted registered Childminder, available for day contracts and specialising in antisocial hours and Hello my name is Luisa Claire. I am CRB checked.

I am an OFSTED registered Childminder, graded "Good" on the new standards and my 1st inspection. I am 42 years old and live in Eaglescliffe with my little boy Luca who is 13 and my little girl Gabriella who is 9. Our home is a friendly, loving, secure, family setting and all children that come here are treated as part of our family. Its a home from home environment with the positive approach that

all children come here to play and have fun. I find this takes the anxiety away from both parents and children and becomes an exciting time to look forward too and gives parents peace of mind their little darlings are happy. I am fully registered for day contracts and I also specialise in Anti-social hours and Overnight Care and currently provide before and after care for school children based at Egglescliffe Primary Shool. We have a cat who is very friendly, fluffy, playful and brilliant with children, she is mainly outside but does like to come in for cuddles and we have a golden retriever and a Cockapoo they adore all children are very gentle and just love to be stroked they are cuddly teddy bears loves to lay watching children play and with full risk assessments in place sometimes accompanies us on outings, own crate for down time and own area in garden for hygiene purposes. I do not smoke. I am fully OFSTED registered including for overnight care. On my 1st inspection from OFSTED and on the new standards I received a GOOD GRADE. I hold a full clean driving licence and have my own 8 Seater transport. I am part of The National Childminding Association, Pacey insured, level II Diploma in childcare, Paediatric First Aid Trained, hold Safeguarding Children Certificates and have received a 5 out of 5 stars from The Food Standards Agency. I do regular development updates on each child in line with EYFS as well as a daily diary summarising how your child has eaten/drank/slept in keeping with their routines and activities they have done so you feel you know how your child's emotional day, where they have been and can chat about their experiences. I actively encourage parents to regularly feedback about home life, activities done together, what your little ones have enjoyed doing or milestones reached, to aid me in my planning, next steps and also so i can talk to the children about what they did and in group talks encouraging their speech, language, communication and listening skills while developing their personal and social development. We have a playroom with lots of lovely toys, free play and educational play supporting all areas of development from numeracy, alphabet. mathematics with counting games and toys to colours and shapes sorters, to understanding the world with effective real world resources, encouraging personal and social and communication and language development, music, train set, post box, wooden kitchen, dolls, cars, wooden tool bench, wooden farm, airport, car park and fire station, as well as a large variety of games and jigsaws, fine motor skills physical development, threading lacing resources and a sofa to relax and read books on or have a rest if wanted. We have a library area in the quiet lounge. An outside large enclosed grassed garden with toys, water table, play house, mud kitchens, bikes/scooters/ride ons, trampoline age dependent, ball pool, paddling pool, we do planting and learn about flowers and wildlife and have a separate bug hotel area. We have a dedicated sleeping room catering for every age group with a double bed, a cot/junior bed and I also have another cot in a separate room i actively promote routines and establish where not already in place and all younger children will have a nap per day in their own cot/bed. We have a quiet lounge for relaxing, homework and school reading books and learning spellings, reading and jigsaws and the kitchen is where we do all our arts and craft activities, cooking, messy play, painting, gluing, sticking, drawing, play doh. We spend a lot of time doing activities outdoors as children love to be able to have their freedom in a safe environment for example walking/play park/feeding ducks/trips to the moors/beach/farms/museums/woods/reservoirs, biking, teddy bears picnics, nature trails, butterfly world and indoor play visiting various groups for example at class, library story time, toddler sessions, music classes, soft play, church groups and meeting with other children for play dates. Children learn social skills, knowledge of the world and develop physically, emotionally and intellectually from going to different places, how to treat people and how to behave and keep safe i.e. walking nicely near busy roads, from being in different social situations and interacting with all ages/genders/cultures. They thrive from fun learning and will have a lot of input into daily planning mainly being child led. We have quiet time for reading, craft activities, cooking and have registered rooms for naps, as well as being fully registered for overnight care. Our daily routines will vary we are always busy having fun, however i will always try to keep as close as possible to any routines you have established with your child i.e. feeding/naps/bottles and all younger children will have a sleep per day, my routines are worked so your child will benefit from having a lovely sleep in a comfortable cot thus benefiting them being happy and not over tired when collected so you can enjoy some time together before bed. I offer a range of food choices I am able to cater for specific requirements and will always encourage children to try different things and provide a healthy menu. Mainly all the children who attend my setting are cared for, played with, listened too, encouraged, nurtured and treated the same as i treat my own little darlings, your child's happiness is my priority. Please contact me if you would like too to discuss your child/ren and my availability if you feel your child will benefit from being in a family home like ours. Thank you for taking the time to read this and i hope to hear from you soon x

Children had a sporting end to summer term with lots of activities for Sports Week including sports day and raising lots of money Running for Cancer Research in The Race for Life. I am so proud of them all for taking part, being excellent team players and role models and for their individual achievements with Gold and Silver Medals.

We ended the term on a high positive note and with some beautiful appreciated gifts and cards from children starting their new adventures at big school in September.

We had a fabulous summer long days in the pool, walks, games, imaginations, treats and lots of fun. The children always play inclusively and extend their learning through play together, it was lovely to hear them using their phonic knowledge to pronounce tricky names in cat bingo.

Summer passed way too quickly but all were smart, positive and excited to start the new term and came out with lots of interesting stories about what subjects learning and were happy to see their friends again. A great start to new beginnings with new teachers and year groups and all had so much fun, well done superstars so proud of you all βοΈπŸŒŸβοΈπŸ’«πŸ€©

Children have had a lovely few weeks this term, getting back into routines and have loved seeing all their friends again. They enjoyed taking part in the 2 week Big Pedal and were all so responsible on their bikes and scooters wearing their helmets and ensuring following the Highway Code at all times on school runs, very proud of them and the lovely comments received about their responsible behaviour especially in a big group they all looked out for each other, followed clear rules on stopping places, gave each other space and encouragement and thoroughly enjoyed it.

We’ve walked, explored, played, baked, created and role played, enjoyed each other’s company and as always play inclusively with each other which is so lovely to see and hear.

It’s been a crazy non stop year I am so proud of all my angels and thankful to my lovely families for working together in these uncertain times.
The children have worked so hard with their education great feedback from school on progress and have all adapted perfectly to school changes. They are being very responsible here and at school continuing their hand washing and maintaining high standards of hygiene.
Well done super stars you are all fabulous it’s nearly the summer holidays can’t wait for more adventures

Happy Mother’s Day to all you wonderful mummy’s you are all amazing. πŸ’•πŸ’œπŸ’•

Angels all had fun making their personalised handprint Tea Light holders for their mummy’s. They asked to do clay models again as they enjoyed using natural resources to squish, roll, design and imaginations to decorate. I am very impressed with sustained concentration and achievements.

It’s been a roller coaster couple weeks with mixed emotions about returning to school but the school support has been fab. They have welcomed all the children back and made it fun. The children enjoyed dressing up for a belated world book day and we made frozen dinosaurs to use senses to explore and discuss for Dinosaurs πŸ¦– πŸ¦• Love Underpants Book on book day.

The children have loved all being back together with lots of role play fun and giggles. We baked cookies, played basketball and always gym time.

So proud of them all πŸ’•πŸ’œπŸ’•

From snow days to spring sunshine the angels have had great fun outdoors enjoying our daily walks.

We enjoyed a lovely long local river walk in the holidays so lovely to have right on our doorstep, very proud of all their stamina. They had great fun exploring, climbing tress, playing with the pups and role play.

Every day was snow day when we got sprinklings of the white stuff, they loved having snowball fights, building snowmen and finding icicles.

We did a science πŸ§ͺ experiment 🧫 of Giant Marbles in the ice. It didn’t work out as well as thought would but still had fun and they looked pretty cool.

Loving the sunnier warmer days, had lots of role play in garden and practicing gymnastics as always.

Enjoying the last week together before they’ll all be back at school full time, with lots of reassurance, cuddles and time spent playing together and preparing them for changes made to school structure and routine.

Going to miss them next week been a lovely, very long holidays πŸ’•πŸ’œπŸ’•
