Shana Keeler's School of Dance We are Shana Keeler's School of Dance and we are based in the heart of Wythenshawe.

We are Fun, Energetic, Passionate, Performing Arts School that carters to all ages, you don't have to be great to start, you have to start to become great. Your local dance school in Wythenshawe, taking students from 18 months to 18 years. Ballet, Tap, Modern Jazz, Contemporary, Commercial, Street, Acrobatics, Singing and Musical Theatre.

✨💙 MEET YOUR TEACHER: ALICIA LALLEY! 💙✨

We’re so excited to introduce Alicia Lalley, one of the amazing teachers joining us for our SKSD October Intensive! 🩰✨

Alicia has been dancing since the age of 3, and her lifelong passion for movement shines through in everything she does. From training professionally at Addict Dance Academy to building an exciting career as a teacher and choreographer, Alicia brings a wealth of knowledge, creativity and energy to every class👏✨

Alicia trained professionally at Addict Dance Academy for three years, graduating in 2024 with a First Class Degree in Professional Dance. Since graduating, she has dedicated herself to teaching, working full-time across numerous dance schools throughout the North West and inspiring dancers of all ages and abilities💙

She has also recently gained her Associate Tap Teaching Qualification through the Allied Dancing Association, continuing to develop her skills and grow as a teacher and choreographer✨

Alongside teaching, Alicia has an exciting list of professional performance credits, including dancing in the Robbie Williams film Better Man (2025), working as a backing dancer for the Totally Tina Tribute Act, appearing in a Pepsi advert, performing in the Disneyland Paris pre-parade, and taking to the Move It Main Stage! 🌟

Alicia is passionate about creating a supportive, motivating and inspiring environment where dancers can build confidence, challenge themselves and most importantly, enjoy every moment of dancing💙

We can’t wait for our dancers to experience Alicia’s Tap and Jazz style, creativity and infectious passion for themselves! 🩵✨

What a busy one! From classes straight into Shrek rehearsals, it was so good to have the studio full again and see everyone back doing what they love🩰✨

WELCOME BACK SKSD! 💙

We’re so excited to have all of our dancers back in the studio for a brand-new term! Whether you’ve been part of the SKSD family for years, you’re joining us for the first time, or you’re simply finding your feet again after a long break, we’re so happy to have you with us💙

And if you’re feeling a little nervous about coming back…you’re not alone🫶

New classes, new routines and new faces can all feel a little daunting, so here are a few little reminders to help you settle back in:
🩰 Ask questions - there’s never a silly one!
💙 Talk about how you’re feeling - you deserve to be heard and seen.
✨ Remember your wins - think about everything you achieved last year.
🫶 Give yourself time - it can take a few weeks to settle into a new routine.
🌟 Embrace the butterflies - nerves and excitement can feel very similar!

To our dancers, parents and teachers, let’s be kind to ourselves and each other over the next few weeks.

We’ll be settled back into our routines before we know it💙

✨💙 MEET YOUR TEACHER: NIAMH HALPIN! 💙✨

We’re so excited to introduce Niamh Halpin | The Dance Diaries ✨🦢 , one of the amazing teachers joining us for our SKSD October Intensive! 🩰✨

Niamh’s love for dance began at her local dance school, where her passion for performing and teaching grew from a young age. From performing at the Blackpool Winter Gardens and on Her Majesty’s stage, to training at the Institute of the Arts Barcelona and performing with the English National Ballet, Niamh has had an incredible journey as a dancer👏✨

She went on to train professionally at Phil Winston’s Theatreworks, graduating in 2021 with a Level 4 Diploma in Ballet and Modern, before performing with professional companies.

But it was through teaching that Niamh truly found where she belonged💙

Joining SKSD in 2022, Niamh’s love for teaching blossomed, eventually leading her to take charge of the SKSD competition team. Her proudest achievements have come through seeing her students grow, with the team going on to win the Entertainment Express title two years in a row at BSICA! 🏆✨

Niamh is passionate about creating the same wholesome, unforgettable experiences that shaped her own childhood through dance -!; we can’t wait for our dancers to experience her Lyrical style, creativity and passion for themselves🩵✨

GOOD LUCK TO ALL OUR DANCERS! 💙✨

As our dancers head back to school this week, we just wanted to wish each and every one of you the biggest good luck!📚✨

Whether it’s your very first day at big school, starting a brand-new year group, moving up to a new class or simply heading back for another year, we are so proud of you! 🥹💙

Remember to believe in yourself, be brave, try your best and enjoy every moment. We know you’re going to do amazing! ✨

And remember, after a busy week at school, we’ll be ready to see you back at SKSD for lots of dancing, smiles and fun! 🩰💙
