3️⃣⭐️ Answer number 3 in our ‘things that Yr7 students have told us they love about Wymondham High’ series… The work of other students!

Several commented on how they love seeing aspirational work other older students and alumni. Whether this is part of classroom displays, physical artefacts in Art or Design and Technology, performances in Drama, Film Studies work on YouTube or alumni posters on the corridors.

Thursday 24th September, between 5pm and 7.30pm we are hosting our open evening for yr5 and yr6 students.
Always a wonderful opportunity to open the gates and welcome visitors around our school.

2️⃣⭐️ Answer number 2 in our ‘things that Yr7 students have told us they love about Wymondham High’ series… THE LIBRARY!

Several commented on how they love the sheer size of the library, the huge selection of books, the computers and board games.
Many mentioned how amazing Miss Gunton is and the welcoming atmosphere she creates.
The comfortable seating booths, author visits, workshops, clubs and societies homed there and library lessons within English were also standout mentions.

1️⃣⭐️ Answer number 1 in our ‘things that Yr7 students have told us they love about Wymondham High’ series… FRIENDSHIPS!

Several commented on how they came from smaller schools, perhaps only knowing a few people, and within a matter of days had made new friends via tutor group, classes, clubs, societies, friends of friends, time in the library, our school musical, sports teams, queues at break and lunchtime and even walking to and from school!
