With the hot weather looking to continue for a couple more days, the PTA, having consulted with the Head Teacher, has made the difficult decision to postpone the Garden Party scheduled for Friday 26th until 18th September.

The decision was not taken lightly, as a lot of preparation has gone into organising the event for this Friday. However, we have to think not only about the welfare of the children but also of all the volunteers who will be working on the various stalls for extended periods in extreme temperatures.

Much of the preparation is not wasted and will simply be carried forward to the new date in September. This also means we can welcome new parents and children to the event, as well as invite Year 6 pupils back, making it an inclusive way to start the new term.

The raffle will also be carried over to 18 September, and any tickets that have already been purchased will be honoured.

We apologise for any disappointment and inconvenience, but hope you will understand that we have to put safety first. We look forward to seeing you at the event in September – save the date!

We would like to say a huge thank you to Six Acre Nurseries for their very generous donation towards our school Gardening Club and Forest School, which they kindly delivered this week.
Including:
🌿 12 x bags of compost
🌿 30 x herb plants
🌿 Lavender plants
🌿 Trowels
🌿 Window sill propagator

The children are looking forward to seeing how the garden comes to life over the next few weeks! 🌱🌿☘️
