Another great week at TickTock
π΄Jungle Room weekly updateπ΄
This week in the Jungle Room we have started our new 'Summer' topic! βοΈ The children have enjoyed lots of fun activities and exploring new experiences through play. We have had cucumber water play π₯π§, a beach-themed tuff tray ποΈ, and a water tuff tray with cups, bowls and spoons where the children enjoyed pouring, filling and emptying. The children have also had lots of fun at the car wash ππ«§, washing dirty cars and using their imagination during play. We have enjoyed trips to the park π³ and lots of time in the garden, making the most of the sunshine and exploring the outdoors. πΌ The children have shown lots of curiosity, creativity and excitement as we begin our Summer adventures. ππ
π Ocean Room Weekly Update πβοΈ
This week in Ocean Room, we have started exploring our exciting Travel & Transport topic! ππβοΈ The children enjoyed making strawberry ice lollies ππ¦, creating ice cream artwork using watercolours and cotton pads π¨, making transport paint tracks π, colourful hot air balloons π and exploring messy gloop play π«§. We also made the most of the lovely weather with a couple of trips to the park π³, where the children had lots of fun cooling off with water play π¦ while enjoying the sunshine. βοΈ

This week in Forest Room, we started exploring our exciting Travel & Transport topic! ππβοΈ The children had lots of fun creating a giant circus tent πͺ to travel into, making paint tracks ππ¨, enjoying bubble play π«§ and getting messy with gloop π. They also loved making their own arts and crafts cone π¨ to take home and proudly share with their families. We made the most of the lovely weather too, with plenty of time at the park π³ and enjoying the sunshine βοΈ.

This week in the Jungle Room, we have been finishing our exciting βSensesβ topic ππππ
β. The children have enjoyed lots of opportunities to explore, investigate and use their senses through a variety of engaging activities. The children have loved getting messy and creative while exploring chia seeds and water π§, discovering different textures with rainbow rice π, and developing their fine motor skills through playdough activities π. We have also enjoyed trips to the park π³, where the children had the opportunity to explore the outdoors, notice changes in their environment and develop their physical skills through active play.
πOcean and Forest RoomπΏ
This week, Forest and Ocean Room finished off our Summer Fun topic with lots of exciting activities! βοΈ The children enjoyed exploring chia seeds, ice painting π¨π§, decorating ice creams π¦, making ice lollies and creating sun paper plates π and octopuses π. Throughout the week, the children had lots of fun with bubbles π«§ and glitter play β¨, encouraging creativity and sensory exploration. We also enjoyed a trip to the park and field π³, making the most of the lovely weather and spending time outdoors together.

This week in the Jungle Room, we have been exploring our "Senses" topic. ππππ
β The children have loved taking part in lots of exciting sensory activities, including exploring rainbow rice π, fruit and vegetable taste testing ππ₯, bubbly water play π¦π«§, and rainbow spaghetti π. These activities encouraged the children to explore different colours, textures, smells, and tastes while developing their curiosity, confidence, and communication through play.

This week, we have continued exploring our Summer topic! βοΈ The children enjoyed making their own colourful wind chimes using decorated sticks ππ¨ and creating nature bracelets using flowers, sticks and grass collected from the garden πΈπ. We also had lots of fun taking part in summer yoga π§ββοΈ, helping the children move their bodies in different ways while developing their balance, coordination and wellbeing.

This week in Forest Room, we have continued exploring our Summer Fun topic! π The children enjoyed a variety of activities, including ice cream decorating π¦, water experiments with ice, paint and leaves π¦π, making playdough π and creating beautiful summer artwork π¨. This week we also said a fond farewell to our wonderful school leavers πβ€οΈ as they head off on their next adventure. We know they will all do amazingly well at big school! The children also enjoyed their final library session π before the summer holidays.
As the term comes to an end, we would like to wish all of our families a fantastic summer break! βοΈ Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to seeing everyone back in September. π

πβ¨ Graduation Day 2026 β¨π
Today we celebrated our wonderful 2026 school leavers as they graduated from TickTock! πβ€οΈ
It has been a privilege to watch each and every one of them learn, grow and blossom into confident, kind and curious children. We are so proud of everything they have achieved during their time with us, and we know they are going to thrive as they begin their next adventure at big school ππ.
Although we will miss them all so much, they will always hold a special place in our hearts and will always be part of the TickTock family. π We wish each of our graduates the very best of luckβwe know youβre all going to do amazing things! ππβ¨

πIt has been such an exciting weekπ
πΏJungle RoomπΏ
This week in the Jungle Room, we have continued learning about toiletingπ½and nursery rhymesπΆ. The children enjoyed a trip to the parkπ and had lots of fun exploring the "Five Little Ducks" gloop tuff trayπ₯. We also celebrated at our end-of-year partyπ with lots of singing and dancing. The children took part in a handwashing activity to learn about keeping clean and enjoyed looking after the babies in our role-play areaπΆπ»π«§. It has been a fun and busy week with lots of learning and play. We hope you all have a lovely weekend!

This week in Ocean Room, we have continued our Summer Fun topic! π The children enjoyed creating sunshine pictures βοΈπ¨, building sandcastles ποΈ and exploring glittery water with sea creatures π β¨. We also made the most of the lovely weather with a trip to the park π³ and lots of fun water play π¦. To end a fantastic week, we celebrated with our End of Year Party ππ. The children had a wonderful time celebrating together and making special memories! β€οΈ

This week in Forest Room, we continued our Summer Fun topic! π The children enjoyed making handprint sandcastles ποΈ, creating fluffy ice cream paintings π¦π¨ and making their own fruit kebabs for snack ππ. We also had a fantastic trip to Cotswold Wildlife Park π¦π¦ and enjoyed our weekly visit to the libraryπ and having their last football lesson of the termβ½οΈ. To finish a wonderful week, the children had an amazing time at our End of Year Party π with music πΆ, games π², magic πͺ and lots of balloons π. What a fantastic way to celebrate together! π

π¦π§ Yesterdayβs Trip to Cotsworld Wildlife Park! π¦π¦
Yesterday, our trip to Cotswold Wildlife Park was a huge success! π The children had an amazing day exploring the park and seeing a wide variety of incredible animals, including lions π¦, owls π¦, zebras π¦, giraffes π¦ and penguins π§. They loved pretending to be the different animals and making all of their sounds, which made the experience even more exciting! πΆπ
One of the highlights of the day was taking a ride on the train π, where the children enjoyed waving at the animals as they travelled around the park. To finish off a fantastic day, everyone had lots of fun playing together in the adventure playground ππ.
It was a wonderful day full of learning, exploration, laughter and unforgettable memories. We are so proud of how well the children behaved throughout the trip and hope they all had as much fun as we did! πβ¨

This week in the Jungle Room, we have been exploring our Toileting & Nursery Rhymes topic! πΆπ½
The children had lots of fun creating a Humpty Dumpty tuff tray using Weetabix for the wall and cornflakes for the egg π₯£π₯. They also loved our Row, Row, Row Your Boat water play, singing along while exploring the boats together π£π¦.
As part of our toileting activities, the children enjoyed washing, drying and dressing our baby dolls before sitting them on the potties πΆπ. We introduced simple toileting words such as βweeβ and βpooβ π½, and it was wonderful to see some of the children independently choosing to sit on the potties during play, copying what they had observed. We are so proud of their growing confidence and independence! π

This week, Ocean Room began exploring our exciting Summer Fun topic! βοΈπ¦
The children created colourful handprint ice lollies and explored mark-making using sticks, developing their creativity and early writing skills π¨βοΈ.
We also enjoyed lots of sensory and messy play, including exploring oobleck, glitter sensory trays and playdough β¨π. These activities encouraged curiosity, investigation and plenty of descriptive language.
Our weekly Krazy Kangas session had everyone moving and smiling π¦π, helping to build physical skills and confidence. To make the most of the lovely weather, we spent time in the garden each morning, enjoying outdoor play, exploring nature and taking part in a variety of summer-themed activities πΌπ.

Forest Room has had a fantastic start to our Summer Fun topic! βοΈπ
The children have enjoyed a variety of exciting messy activities, including fluffy ice cream painting π¦π¨, glitter play β¨, making fish π, splash painting π¦, creating popsicle ice art, and caring for baby dolls by bathing and dressing them πΆπ.
We also celebrated the Worlds cupβ½π by designing our own football jerseys , creating flags and taking part in a friendly football competition. Even though the hot weather meant we had to stay indoors, the children kept active with dancing π, yoga π§, football β½, egg and spoon races π₯π₯ and lots of cooling water play π¦.
It has been another wonderful week filled with learning, laughter, creativity and lots of fun! We hope everyone has a fantastic weekend, and we look forward to another exciting week ahead! ππ

This week we finished our Minibeasts topic! π The children loved digging through pasta to rescue the bugs and enjoyed counting spots and naming different colours. π΄π‘π΅ We also went on a nature walk around the setting to look for insects in their natural habitat. πΏπͺ² The children were excited to see what they could find! At Krazy Kangas, we had lots of fun singing and dancing to insect-themed songs, including "10 Little Caterpillars Jumping on the Bed." πΆπ

This week we have started exploring our exciting new Summer topic! π The children had lots of fun making scented playdough before using it to create their own colourful ice lollies, developing their creativity and fine motor skills. π¦β¨ We also made the most of the beautiful warm weather by taking a trip to the park, where the children enjoyed exploring, climbing, running and playing together outdoors. π³π They finished the week by creating their own bright sunshine pictures, using a variety of materials to make cheerful summer artwork. βοΈπ¨

This week we have kicked off our exciting Summer Fun topic with lots of engaging activities! The children enjoyed creating colourful sand art, taking part in a summer car wash, making glitter sensory bottles and even helping to make refreshing homemade lemonade. ππ¨β¨ We made the most of the lovely sunshine by going on a nature walk and enjoying two trips to the park, where the children developed their physical skills, confidence and independence through climbing, balancing and exploring the outdoors. π³πβοΈWe have also continued to enjoy our weekly Zumba, football and library sessions, giving the children plenty of opportunities to stay active, build friendships and develop a love of books and movement. β½ππ

This week, we have continued exploring our Mini Beasts topic through lots of exciting sensory and creative activities! πΏβ¨
The children loved watching ice melt to reveal the bugs hidden inside βοΈπ and digging through jelly to discover different mini beasts. They also created handprint spiders ποΈπ·οΈ and had great fun exploring gloop while singing Incy Wincy Spider together. πΆ
We also enjoyed our weekly Krazy Kangas session π€Έ and, with the warm weather, the children had lots of fun splashing in water play to help keep cool while developing their sensory and physical skills. π¦βοΈ
ππΏ This Week in Ocean Room πΏπ
This week we have continued exploring our Minibeasts topic through a range of fun, hands-on activities. The children enjoyed using different coloured playdough to create a variety of minibeasts, encouraging their creativity and fine motor skills. ππ¨
They also made their own beautiful ladybirds by painting plant pots red and black before adding the finishing touches. β€οΈπ€ The children loved creating bug houses too, using paper plates and cardboard tubes to make cosy homes for their favourite minibeasts. π‘π
It has been another fantastic week full of creativity, imagination, and learning as we continue to explore the wonderful world of minibeasts! πΌπ¦

This week, we finished off our Minibeasts topic with lots of fun, hands-on activities! π The children enjoyed snail watercolour painting, making their own gloop, and exploring a colourful salt sensory tray. π¨β¨
Our school leavers also took part in a special Show and Tell, helping to build their confidence, communication skills, and name recognition as they prepare for their exciting next adventure at school. πβ
Due to the hot weather, we stayed cool by having our own library session at the setting instead of visiting the library. The children also enjoyed their weekly Zumba π and football β½ sessions, keeping active while having lots of fun!
