📚 Top Tip Tuesday – The Importance of Early Literacy 🧸💚

Sharing stories together is a wonderful way to support children’s language, imagination, confidence and connection from an early age.

We’re excited to introduce our Bedtime Bear! 🐻 Each child will have the opportunity to take Bedtime Bear home, choose a favourite book from home and enjoy sharing a story together.

Bedtime Bear also comes with a special scrapbook where families can add photos, drawings and little comments about their reading adventure for us all to share and celebrate back at nursery. 📖✨

Our mud kitchen has been in full swing this morning, from shell soup to mud pies! The children have been busy exploring and creating. 🐚🌱

Our Tigers have been working together at our water station, exploring how the water moves and changes as they experiment with different ways to make it flow! 💦🌿

Through our Nursery Curriculum, exploring the outdoors gives children wonderful opportunities to develop teamwork, problem-solving, curiosity and communication through hands-on learning. 🌿💧

🌿 Top Tip Tuesday – The Magic of Mud Kitchens! 🌿

Mud kitchens are so much more than messy play! They spark curiosity, imagination and problem-solving, while helping children develop confidence, communication and self-regulation. 💚

Even carrying and moving buckets, logs and watering cans can provide valuable “heavy work”, helping children feel calm.

Why not create a simple mud kitchen at home and see where their imagination takes them? 🌱🥄💦
