Bellevue Playgroup

Bellevue Playgroup has now officially closed after 54years. Can parents save pictures if they want any as I will be deleting all history and the account by end of September.

It is with great sadness I would like to announce that Bellevue Playgroup will close at the end of this school year in July, after running for over 50 years. The move to All Saints Church on Poyser Street, although a safer and child friendly venue, the number of attendances dropped dramatically making it unviable. No amount of advertising, banners, and Facebook posts encouraged the Registrations. The staff over the years have all been amazing, staff at present are no exception, but it just isn't to be. Grant funding has been hit hard and no matter how many funding applications have been sent out to help in times of need only a couple have been agreed over the past 2 years. I would like to thank Asda for their support with a crisis grant last year for heating and lighting costs. Along with Victoria Wine Subash Shan and Bryn Offa Stores for all their help over the years. We would also like to thank all the parents of all the children that attended when in Bellevue Park and Poyser Street.

Bellevue playgroup would like to thank Chrissy for the generous donation of Easter eggs for our charity. The children obviously very happy and wanted to eat them straight away.

This was the last day of playgroup before breaking up on the 21st December. Less children in the afternoon session due to illness unfortunately but having a story to end the day. Hope everyone is having a lovely holiday and we will see you back on Tuesday 9th January 2024. Thank you everyone for our lovely presents. All the best for 2024 from the Staff and the Committee.
