A huge thank you to the Good to Grow Project for visiting our Seedlings department to help us sow plants and seeds for our new outdoor garden! 🌱🌼

The children had a wonderful time getting hands-on with planting, learning about how things grow and working together to create a beautiful outdoor space for everyone to enjoy. Their enthusiasm and excitement were fantastic to see!

We can’t wait to watch our garden grow over the coming weeks! 🌿☀️

We were delighted to welcome scientist Rachel Davies to school to share stories about her incredible work in South Georgia! 🐧🦭

The children were fascinated to learn about penguins, seals and life on the island, and they asked so many thoughtful and enthusiastic questions throughout the visit. It was wonderful to see their curiosity and excitement for science and the natural world.

What an inspiring morning for Oaks department! Louise from TechWeCan joined us for a fantastic workshop exploring how AI shapes the world around us. The children absolutely loved discovering the wide range of future careers that use AI and learning how these innovations can help protect and improve our planet. Their excitement was infectious. Thank you, Louise, for opening their eyes to what’s possible.

🐾 Special Visitor in Years 1, 2 & 3! 🐾
This week our Year 1, 2 and 3 children had a wonderful visit from Dean from Animal Kind! 🐍🦎🐰
The children were fascinated as they learned all about different animals, how to care for them and why being kind to animals is so important. There were lots of curious questions, big smiles and some excellent suggestions about keeping animals safe from litter and pollution.

Apologies for the slightly late post – our Easter Enterprising Event took place just before half term, and we’re still recovering from all the excitement! 🐣💰

What a cracking afternoon it was! A huge congratulations to all our incredible pupils (and their wonderfully supportive parents!) for making it such a fantastic success. The children truly blew us away with their entrepreneurial spirit – from setting budgets to calculating profits, they embraced every challenge like seasoned business pros. We are so proud of the financial literacy skills they’ve developed… and the confidence they showed along the way!

Of course, we couldn’t help but notice a few creative business strategies in action 👀… including some very clever “no change available” policies and the occasional attempt to persuade (or gently bribe!) parents into “just one more go” at the games! We think there may be some future directors among us… or at the very least, expert negotiators! 😂

Thanks to everyone’s hard work and enthusiasm, we raised an amazing £730 – what an achievement!

A huge thank you to Alison Robert’s from Tesco for donating a huge selection of prizes for the children, as well as serving tea and coffee, your support is hugely appreciated.
