📚✨ Dosbarth Miss Fox Visit Stori Brymbo! ✨📚

Last week, Dosbarth Miss Fox enjoyed a fantastic morning at Stori Brymbo!

It was a wonderful opportunity to take learning beyond the classroom, discover more about our local area and spend the morning exploring and learning together. 🏫🌟

Another big diolch to everyone at Stori Brymbo for welcoming us, and answering all of our questions! We could have stayed all day 💚

A very special visitor came to see us this week! 👋

John and his puppet friend, Charlie, helped us learn an important lesson about keeping ourselves safe. We talked about what to do if we ever see a needle, medicine or something unfamiliar that could be dangerous.

The children learnt three simple steps: don’t touch, move away and tell a trusted grown-up straight away. ✋🗣️

Here is Dosbarth Miss Ion and Dosbarth Mrs Bunting listening brilliantly and doing a fantastic job remembering our important message:

🌟 Don’t Touch, Tell! 🌟

Well done, everyone! 👏😊

A huge thank you to the Good to Grow Project for visiting our Seedlings department to help us sow plants and seeds for our new outdoor garden! 🌱🌼

The children had a wonderful time getting hands-on with planting, learning about how things grow and working together to create a beautiful outdoor space for everyone to enjoy. Their enthusiasm and excitement were fantastic to see!

We can’t wait to watch our garden grow over the coming weeks! 🌿☀️

We were delighted to welcome scientist Rachel Davies to school to share stories about her incredible work in South Georgia! 🐧🦭

The children were fascinated to learn about penguins, seals and life on the island, and they asked so many thoughtful and enthusiastic questions throughout the visit. It was wonderful to see their curiosity and excitement for science and the natural world.

A huge thank you to Rachel for inspiring our children and giving them such a memorable experience! 🌍✨

We made it to the top of mighty Moel Famau, and I’m delighted to report that your children transformed into the premium, deluxe, limited‑edition versions of themselves. Honestly, if we could bottle that energy and enthusiasm, we’d power the whole of North Wales.
A huge shout‑out to the incredible mountain rescue team, who not only guided us safely but also brought along some very charming, very fluffy morale‑boosters. What a fabulous achievement for every single one of them. Legs were stretched, spirits were high, and snacks were consumed at record‑breaking speeds. I’m confident they’ll sleep extremely well tonight — I know I will.

What an inspiring morning for Oaks department! Louise from TechWeCan joined us for a fantastic workshop exploring how AI shapes the world around us. The children absolutely loved discovering the wide range of future careers that use AI and learning how these innovations can help protect and improve our planet. Their excitement was infectious. Thank you, Louise, for opening their eyes to what’s possible.
