🍂 Hello October! 🍂

What a lovely September we’ve had at The School House! ❤️

We’ve loved getting to know all of our new children and watching them settle in, make new friends and become part of our School House family.

It’s also been lovely catching up with our returning children and hearing all about what they’ve been up to over the summer holidays. We’ve certainly enjoyed hearing their stories!

We’ve made the most of the beautiful sunny days, spending lots of time outdoors, exploring, playing and making the most of our outdoor space!

It’s been so lovely welcoming our new friends and catching up with all our old School House friends over the past two weeks. ❤️

⭐ We need your help! ⭐

Autumn is slowly creeping in, and we’re looking for some natural treasures to stock our mud kitchen.
Next week children will be sent home with their own collecting bags ready for a treasure hunt. What autumn treasures will you find?

Conkers
Acorns
Pine cones
Sticks

We’re also looking for cardboard tubes, especially carpet rolls, as we get ready for our conker races!

Today we celebrated the end of an amazing year with lots of colour, laughter and fun at our Colour Run! It was the perfect way to make some special memories together. As we say goodbye to our wonderful nursery children, we want you to know how incredibly proud we are of each and every one of you. Thank you for the memories, the fun, the laughter and of course, all the wonderful mess along the way! 😂

To all of our children and families who are part of The School House, thank you for your continued support, kindness and trust throughout the year.
We hope you all have a fantastic summer holiday. We can’t wait to welcome everyone back in September for another year full of adventures, learning and smiles!

The laughter, teamwork and soaking wet clothes shows us that the best learning happens when children are fully engaged and having fun💧 ☀️

Children in ASC are really enjoying making their own snacks this term and enjoyed making their own healthy fruit kebabs last week (its cake and waffles this week) 😋🤣

With the warm weather expected this week, please make sure your child comes to Little Miners with sun cream already applied and a sun hat ☀️

We’ll be enjoying lots of water play activities, so we would appreciate it if you could also send your child with a spare set of clothes that we can change them into before hometime.
