What an emotional week it has been!
A huge well done and goodbye to our amazing Year 6 pupils. You will all be greatly missed but we know you will continue to shine in your secondary schools.
Goodbye and thank you to Mr Gow for everything you have done for us over the last few months. You made a great impact on the children and we are sad to see you go.
And a final huge thank you and goodbye to Mrs Griffiths, we have had lots of fun, laughter and joy over the last 4 years and you have been an amazing teacher to our Foundation Phase pupils. Good luck in your new school, they are lucky to have you.
A huge well done to all our pupils this year, you have all worked extremely hard and we are all proud of you.
Thank you for all of our lovely messages, cards and gifts. We really appreciate them.
I hope you all have a lovely Summer break and a well deserved rest.
We will see you back in school on Thursday 3rd September. ❤️❤️❤️

We’ve been asked to share

What a beautiful day we have had at St Asaph Cathedral. We got to look around, take part in some activities and enjoy learning all about parts of the cathedral. A fantastic day out which all the children thoroughly enjoyed.

What a way to end a really hot week in school! The children had the best time having a water fight to cool themselves down. Think the teachers secretly enjoyed it as well 😂💦😂💦

A huge well done to one of our Year 6 pupils who attended the Wrexham School Boys U11’s presentation evening with Wrexham Mayor Jeremy Kent at the Guildhall in Wrexham last night. We are all super proud of you!

It was wonderful that Ysgol Pentre was represented.

This is what Pentre’s dedicated teachers get up to on the weekend in a heatwave!!!

Mrs Jones and her family have been up this weekend removing the old not fit for purpose kitchen spaces ready to have a brand new kitchen down stairs for children to use and to create a new intervention space for learners upstairs.

We’ve got the MyHappyMind GOLD AWARD!!

This means that, as a school, we consider the mental health and wellbeing of our children as one of our top priorities. We have created a whole-school culture that helps build our children’s resilience, confidence and self-esteem, as well as teaching them how to self-regulate during stressful times.

This Accreditation badge has been awarded thanks to all the effort our staff, children, governors and parents have put in to bring the lessons of myHappymind to life across our school.

A super fab but hot day yesterday in the Llangollen Eisteddfod. The children had a great day and did not complain once about the heat. They were all very well behaved and had an amazing day.
