Really good to welcome our graduate Dan Middleton back to Wrexham Glyndwr today to talk to our students about his time on the broadcasting, journalism and media communications degree programme here at Wrexham Glyndwr and his career in the creative industries. Dan now works as a broadcast editor at the William Hill HQ in Leeds. He also took time to share tips on building work experience and finding career pathways. Big thanks to Dan (seen here with our second years) for coming up to North Wales via Leicester especially to see us.

Our first year journalism students enjoyed a visit to the BBC studios based here on our Wrexham campus. Big thanks to the BBC North East Wales team, based in our Creative Industries Building, including news organiser Cath Steward, for taking the time to talk to us about their experiences of working for the BBC. .

Saturday vibes and it’s time to talk social media for creatives. Our lecturers Angela Ferguson and Sally Harrison are here at the Wrexham Glyndwr University open day until 2pm to talk about our broadcasting, journalism and media communications course
