📸🍂 ONLY 25 DAYS TO GO! 🍂📸

Our Cherry Hill Annual Photo Shoot is getting closer!

📅 Thursday 29th October 2026 – Half-Term Week
We’re delighted to be welcoming back the very talented Rob Kirman Photography for another morning of beautiful photographs and special memories. 🥰📸

✨ EVERYONE IS WELCOME! ✨
Your child does NOT need to attend Cherry Hill to come along. Whether you’re a current Cherry Hill family, a past family, or your little one has never attended Cherry Hill, you’re very welcome. 💜

A lovely opportunity to capture some gorgeous photographs of your little ones — and perhaps get a head start on those Christmas presents! 🎄🎁

🎃🍂 CHERRY HILL PUMPKIN PATCH 2026 IS OFFICIALLY OPEN! 🍂🎃

Our front garden has had its October makeover — the pumpkins are out, the spiders have moved in 🕷️, our pumpkin friends are back and, of course, Cherry Hill Bear is joining in too! 🐻🎃

We absolutely LOVE creating these seasonal displays, but the best part is seeing them through the children’s eyes. 🥰 We can’t wait for the children to explore our Pumpkin Patch throughout October, discover all the little surprises and enjoy lots of Autumn adventures along the way. 🍁🍂

Our Pumpkin Patch will be here for the whole of October, so there’s plenty of time for everyone to enjoy it! 🎃 💜 xx

🎃🍂 It’s that time of year again… 🍂🎃

The pumpkins have arrived, which can only mean one thing…
The Cherry Hill Pumpkin Patch is incoming! 🎃🎃🎃

We absolutely LOVE this time of year at Cherry Hill and can’t wait to transform our front garden once again for all our children and families to enjoy 🧡🍁

Watch this space… 🍂 🎃 ✨ 💜 xx

Not all nursery days finish at 5:30pm… 😂☕🧁

A slightly different end to the working day today, attending Wrexham County Borough Council’s Childcare Expansion Consultation Event.

Everything is still very much in the early consultation stages, but it was really interesting to hear some of the ideas being explored for the future of childcare across Wrexham and to have the opportunity to share our views as childcare providers.

It’s always good to be involved in these early conversations and have a voice in discussions that could eventually benefit our children, families and the wider childcare sector.

And of course … cake always helps! 😂🍰💜 xx

Update regarding the road closure ⛔️💜 xx

UPDATE:

I’ve spoken to Wrexham Council this morning, who have confirmed that the roadworks are for emergency gas repairs to locate and fix a leak.

Repairs are expected to be fully completed by October 02 at the latest. Diversions will stay in place until the work is finished, so please plan for extra travel time.

Given the travel difficulties seen this morning, I’ve also requested a diversionary route be properly displayed.

If you have any issues or difficulty then please feel free to drop me an email. Thank you.

🚧 DEAN ROAD — ROAD CLOSURE 🚧

NEW: Update in the comment section.

Wales & West gas utilities has installed a temporary road closure at the bottom of Dean Road, at the Jeffrey’s Road junction.

This work wasn't listed on their public schedule, and local councillors were not pre-notified. I’m currently looking into this to find out the timeframe for the closure.

In the meantime, please use the Link Road as an alternative route. I will post an update here as soon as I have more details.

Thanks to Natalie for sharing the below pic.

🍂🐻 Cherry Hill Bear is Autumn ready! 🐻🍂

Our much-loved Cherry Hill Bear is showing off his brand-new Autumn T-shirt and looking very seasonal! 🍁

He’s been part of Cherry Hill for many years now, and we still love changing his outfits to match the seasons and occasions throughout the year. ❤️

“Everything is Autumn!” 🍂 And with October just around the corner, we think he’s definitely dressed for the occasion! 👌

Have a lovely weekend everyone 💜 xx

🍂🎃 Looking ahead to October… what’s in season? 🍎🥕

October is just around the corner, bringing with it so many lovely seasonal fruits and vegetables! 🍐🥦

At Cherry Hill, we love making the most of seasonal produce — not only within our healthy, homemade menus, but also through our sensory experiences, play activities and learning opportunities. 💚

From exploring the different colours, smells, tastes and textures of autumn produce, to pumpkin play, vegetable printing, cooking activities and discovering where our food comes from, there are so many ways for our children to explore and learn. 🎃🥕🍏

With apples, pears, blackberries, pumpkins, squash, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, leeks and lots more coming into season, we’ll certainly be putting them to good use throughout October! 🍂

Learning, exploring, tasting and playing… all through the wonderful foods autumn has to offer. 💜 xx
