Parents/Carers - The school holidays are nearly upon us.

Just a reminder if you need childcare over the Holidays we still have places available at TEMPS, and we are also open for the Training Day. Please call 07512764645. The Holiday Club is available for all children aged 3 years to 14 years. Children do not have to attend the Rofft School to attend Holiday Club.

800,000 families missing out on tax-free childcare

Families could be eligible for Tax-Free Childcare if they:

Have a child or children aged 11 or under. They stop being eligible on 1 September after their 11th birthday;
The parent and their partner earn, or expect to earn, at least the national minimum wage or living wage for 16 hours a week, on average ;
Each earn less than £100,000 a year;
Do not receive Universal Credit or childcare vouchers;
If their child has a disability, they receive up to £4,000 a year to help with higher childcare costs that are often involved until 1 September after their 16th birthday.

Families are being urged to save money this Easter holiday by making the most of tax-free childcare.

HMRC has reminded parents they can save up to £2,000 a year on childcare for each of their children under 11 by using the scheme.

The scheme is separate from the government's 30-hour programme, so both can be used at the same time.

Register for Tax-Free Childcare and you'll get an account you can use to pay for care for your children.

For every £8 working parents pay into the account, the government automatically tops it up by £2, up to £2,000.

This account is then used to pay for your childcare. Lots of childcare venues link up their own apps to the account to automate monthly payments.

A total of £46.6m in government cash was added to accounts in December, the latest figures show, contributing to the cost of childcare for almost 660,000 children.

In September, some 1.3 million families were eligible, but around 800,000 weren't taking advantage of this benefit.

A family can save up to £500 every three months for each child, or £1,000 every three months if the child is disabled, which can be used to pay for any approved childcare.

Some 75,000 childcare settings accept Tax-Free Childcare as payment, including nurseries, childminders and clubs.

TEMPS Holiday Club - February Half-Term:

The Club will be open from 8am - 5:45pm on Monday 16th February to Friday 20th February.

To help us organise staffing and activities, please let us know as soon as possible if you require childcare on these dates. You can book on the iPal System or ask a member of staff at TEMPS to book your sessions

If your child has not used the club before, we can arrange a free taster sessions and help with registration.

TEMPS Community Childcare, based on the Rofft School site, is pleased to offer affordable and flexible childcare for all children aged 3 to 14 years. Remember schools are closing on 19th December.

We will be open on the following dates:

Monday 22nd December – 8:00am to 5:45pm

Tuesday 23rd December – 8:00am to 5:45pm

Friday 2nd January – 8:00am to 5:45pm

Monday 5th January – 8:00am to 5:45pm

Whether you’re still working, need time to finish your Christmas shopping, or have appointments to attend, we’re here to help.

Children can attend for as little as one hour or stay for a full session, depending on your needs. The rate is £4.50 per hour.

Dear Parents/Carers,

As the October Half-Term approaches, we would like to remind you that school will close at the end of the school day on Friday 24th October. If you require childcare at TEMPS during the school Half-Term Holidays , please contact TEMPS to confirm your requirements.

We are scheduled to be open from 8:00 AM to 5:45 PM from Monday 27th October to Friday 31st October.

Please note, you do not need to book a full session; childcare can be booked in hourly increments, with the rate remaining at £4.50 per hour. Additionally, our Holiday Club is available to children who do not attend The Rofft School, so feel free to share this information with family and friends.

TEMPS continues to accept all Childcare Vouchers, 30hrs Funded Childcare Offer and HMRC Child Tax Allowance.

TEMPS Summer Holiday Club

Our Summer Holiday Club will be running on the dates listed below and is open to children aged 3 to 14 years. Sessions run from 8:00 AM to 5:45 PM.
To book, please use the iPal system or contact us directly by call or text on 07512 764645. Early booking is highly encouraged so we can arrange staffing and plan engaging activities.

Children should bring a packed lunch and, on warmer days, a spare set of clothes as we usually include water play. Drinks and snacks will be provided throughout the day.

🚫 Please note: We will be closed from 25th – 29th August for staff holidays and essential building maintenance.

We welcome all children aged 3 to 14 years, and the Club will operate daily from 8:00am to 5:45pm. Our rate is £4.50 per hour, and you are welcome to book for as little as one hour or for a full day.

Children aged 3-14 years are welcome to attend, regardless of whether they are pupils at The Rofft School.

Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:45 PM - Rate £4.00 Per Hour

If you require additional childcare during this period, please feel free to book online or communicate your needs to our TEMPS staff, who will be happy to assist you with the booking process.

The club is open to all children aged 3 to 14 years, providing flexible and affordable childcare options. You can choose to book for as little as one hour up to a full day. We have an exciting range of activities planned to keep the children engaged and entertained. Those children who are staying all day please bring a packed lunch. Snacks and drinks are provided throughout the day.

Nursery Fun Time Club –
11.30am – 3:00pm Term Time
There are places available at TEMPS Fun Time Club for 3 and 4 year olds.
Nursery children are collected from the Rofft Nursery Class and escorted to the TEMPS mobile at 11:30am, where they are registered. Children are required to bring a packed lunch. We do provide drinks and a snack. Our current rate is £4 per hour. The Club is registered and accepts Childcare Vouchers, the 30hrs Childcare Allowance and the Government Tax-Free Childcare Scheme.
We offer flexible attendance so you only pay for what childcare you need. Children can attend the Fun Time Club for 1 hour or up to the whole session. If parents are working or unable to collect at 3pm, the children can register in the After School Club which is open until 5.45pm. Staff from Fun Time also work at the After School Club, so the children have continuity with staff. Please also let your family and friends know of this valuable service.
