Our little ones have been getting stuck into some spooky Halloween sensory play! 🎃👻

We explored a tray of bright red water filled with creepy crawlies, pumpkins and other Halloween-themed objects. The children used scoops, nets and their hands to scoop, pour, catch and explore. 🥄💦🕸️

This activity encouraged fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, sensory exploration, concentration and imaginative play, while also introducing lots of opportunities for language as we talked about the different objects and colours. ❤️🧡
