Terms and Conditions:

Primary Tutoring Solutions operates a cashless system. After the initial trial session, tutoring is paid for in blocks of 4 sessions. All payments must be made in advance and paid by the 1st of each month. If no payment has been made ahead of the date and time of the scheduled session, no tuition will take place. Unarranged Absences (such as sickness):
We require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice for unarranged absences such as sickness. Unfortunately, as a small business, if 48 hours’ notice is not given, we are unable to offer a refund or to credit the session. Arranged Absences (such as holiday):
We accept there may be times when you need to book a holiday. Therefore, we allow for 2 weeks of pre-booked holiday which will be credited to your next month. Tutor sickness In the event that I (the tutor) am sick, I will endeavour to re-schedule the tutoring session. If this is not possible for any reason, the session will be credited to the following month. Safeguarding:
I have a fully portable enhanced DBS check, and as a qualified teacher, have undertaken regular safeguarding courses. I am registered with the Education Workforce Council in Wales and also with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) for GDPR. All correspondence will be through parents/guardians. NB: Notice period required for pre-booked holidays is 2 weeks by either party.

To mark this Black History Month, one of my home educated students and I are going to research the Civil Rights Movement in America.

We are going to learn about some inspirational people, specifically Martin Luther King Jr, Rosa Parks and Harriet Tubman.

My knowledge on this topic is limited, so I am really looking forward to finding out more about these amazing individuals. 🖤🖤🖤
