Today saw the Early Years children having the best time during their Sports Day. Every single child crossed the line with a huge smile on their face. We are incredibly proud of all of them for always trying hard. A huge thank you to all the family members who came to support in the sun. It was wonderful hearing all the support and cheers. Diolch yn fawr pawb 👏🏻

Key stage 2 children had an excellent morning thanks to Mold Bookshop where they had a visit from author Emma Swan. She came to talk to the children about her books Cruise Ship Kid. Brilliant session and the children and staff had a wonderful time. Diolch yn fawr. 📚

As part of their topic on World War 2, Blwyddyn 6 were immersed in activities, replicating life during the war. They have really enjoyed learning about the wartime period through hands on experiences and working together - Ardderchog pawb

Blwyddyn 5 have been busy as part of their unit on electricity, looking at components that build a successful circuit. They collected the components and carefully made their circuits. Success was seeing the lightbulbs light up the classroom 💡

Today our parents, families and friends were treated to the Performing Arts Clubs’ performance of Matilda. An amazing performance by all of the children who, through their hard work during the after school club, gained confidence and skills playing the cast of their version of Matilda. Bravo pawb 📚

As part of their work on the book What the Ladybird Heard, children in our Early Years Unit have really enjoyed listening to Lydia Monks tutorial on how she illustrates especially the little ladybird in the story. All the children have listened so well and made amazing ladybirds following the instructions given. Ardderchog pawb - amazing artists. I hope you like them 🐞

As part of their topic on gaming and communication this term, Blwyddyn 5 have had a great time, sorting, investigating and ordering different types of communication and created various timelines. They discovered the beginnings of communication and how it has progressed so quickly up to the present day. Ardderchog pawb ☎️ 📱
