🏠🎃 The perfect Halloween house… finally! 👻🧟‍♂️

After coming back to his magnetic tiles on and off ALL day, one little builder was determined to create the perfect-sized house for his Halloween figures. 🎃

A lot of building… a few adjustments… a bit of rearranging… until finally he was happy and all the spooky residents were settled in. 🏠👻

Then came the big crane… 🚧😂

And yep… CRASH! 💥

All that hard work demolished in seconds! 😂

But honestly, that’s half the fun — build it, knock it down, and start all over again! ❤️

A lovely little walk this morning and what a beautiful surprise we found… a whole field of sunflowers! 🌻💛

Yellow/Melyn is one of the colours we’ve been exploring as part of our Me, My World & Autumn topic, so it was the perfect opportunity to spot yellow in the world around us.

This is one of the special things about childminding — being able to take our learning outdoors, follow little interests and make the most of those unexpected moments along the way. 💛

Sometimes the simplest adventures create the loveliest learning opportunities. 🌻🍂

Today we had lots of fun exploring our shadows as part of our Me, My World & Autumn topic. 🌞👣

We noticed that our shadows follow us wherever we go! We looked at the shapes they made, we waved our arms, jumped and hopped and even tried to catch them! 😂

It was a lovely opportunity for the children to explore themselves, their bodies and the world around them, while developing their curiosity, observation and language skills.

A simple activity, but we had lots and lots of fun and learning! 🥰✨

🌷 May, June & July 🦋

These months were all about enjoying summer and making our final term together extra special at Flutterbyes. 💛☀️

We made the most of the warmer weather, spending time outdoors, enjoying lots of fun activities, playing, exploring and creating special memories together. 🌿🎨🥰

It was also a very special time as we said goodbye to two of our children as they moved on to their next adventure. Although we were sad to see them leave, we loved making their final term with us full of happiness, laughter and wonderful memories. 🦋💛

A beautiful end to our 2025–2026 year at Flutterbyes. ✨

🌷 April 🦋

April was all about enjoying the little things at Flutterbyes. 💛

With spring finally arriving, we spent lots of time outdoors, enjoying the sunshine when we could, getting stuck into activities and, of course, plenty of playing, exploring and learning with our friends. 🌿☀️

Nothing too fancy… just lots of those everyday moments that make our days at Flutterbyes so special. 🥰

Another lovely month of memories before we headed into the final few months of our 2025–2026 year. 🦋✨
