St. Joseph’s Catholic and Anglican High School is once again celebrating a fantastic year of results.

Students and staff are celebrating an outstanding set of GCSE results today, with pupils securing an exceptional tally of top A* and A grades across a wide range of subjects. Notably, a third of all GCSE grades awarded were at A or A*. Among the high achievers, 17 students achieved 10 or more top-tier A*-A grades, reflecting the school community’s relentless dedication, disciplined effort, and commitment to academic excellence.

Leading the remarkable results is Victoria Claveria, whose consistent hard work earned her an incredible 12 A* grades alongside 2 A grades, giving her a total of 14 top grades. Following closely behind with extraordinary academic devotion are Karolina Rogacka, who secured 10 A* grades (14 A*-A total), and Kinga Wojciechowska, who achieved 9 A* grades (12 A*-A total).

Through their exemplary perseverance and application, the following pupils also achieved 10 or more top A* and A grades: Daniel Bygrave, Roa Elmagarbi, Henry Ellis, Ralph Fryer, Oliver Jones, Olivia Koza, Ivan Lseses, Divya Manoj, Nicole Nowicka, Olivier Podsiadlo, Adrian Stasiowski, Judimae Tecson, and Marta Zareba.

Each and every pupil in the year group has performed brilliantly, and everyone at St. Joseph’s is extremely proud of their results and individual achievements. Once again, the school has seen outstanding results that are far beyond the national averages in every subject. Notably, 94% of pupils achieved a C grade or higher in English Literature, alongside a flawless 100% A*-C rate across 12 subjects, and most subjects saw over 50% of their total marks awarded at A* or A grade!

Headteacher Chris Wilkinson said: “These results don’t happen by chance or accident. They are the result of five years of hard work and determination, great teaching from fantastic staff who continually go above and beyond what is needed, amazing support staff who encourage and guide pupils, and the excellent support of parents and carers in ensuring everything comes together. I’m really proud and pleased once again to be wishing these young people all the very best in their next steps, and I do so knowing they have the best set of qualifications in order to do it!”

On behalf of the Governors, staff, and whole school community, the young people in the outgoing Year 11 have been a real blessing to St. Joseph’s over five excellent years, and they go into the world as a credit to us and an asset to society. 📚 GCSE Results Day 2026 🎓

A reminder that GCSE results will be available for collection on Thursday 20th August.

⏰ Year 11: 9:00am–12:00 noon
⏰ Year 10: 10:30am–12:00 noon – GCSE results for Languages and Modern Foreign Languages

If pupils are unable to attend in person, they will be able to view their official results via the MCAS app under the Exams icon.

Please remember that, due to Data Protection protocols, results cannot be discussed over the telephone or given to a third party.

With the warm weather continuing, we know many of our pupils and families will be making the most of being outdoors.

A quick reminder, however, about the dangers of open water. Rivers, lakes, reservoirs and quarries can look inviting on a hot day, but cold water, hidden hazards, strong currents and sudden changes in depth can make entering the water extremely dangerous, even for confident swimmers.

Please take a few moments to talk to your children about staying safe around open water.

Fantastic last day in Paris with a river cruise down the River Seine taking in the sites of the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame followed by a trip up to the Sacre-Coeur Basilica using the Montmartre Funicular for stunning views across the Parisian skyline.

Wow, what a magical third day in Disney Land Paris!

One final morning in Paris for the boat ride on the Seine.

Fantastic day 2 of the French trip to Paris.

In the morning the pupils got to learn about French Royalty and take in the fantastic views with a visit to the Palace of Versailles.

Followed in the afternoon with a walking tour of Paris and another traditional evening meal at a French restaurant.
