✨ First two weeks in Holiday Club ✨

✨ Our Early Education have been busy over the last two weeks! ✨

The children have been enjoying lots of outdoor adventures with Mrs Jones and Miss Lily in forest school, where they have been making mud pies, climbing and getting creative by making their own ribbons.

They have also been enjoying the bubble machine, which has inspired them to create their own bubble wands!

One of the highlights has been making giant bubbles - even big enough for the children to stand inside themselves 🫧

🌿🐻 Nursery Plus have been going on a bear hunt 🐻🌿

The children have had a wonderful time in forest school this week, bringing the story ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’ to life! They’ve been playing hide and seek, using the big pipe as a perfect hiding spot and exploring the woodland with lots of excitement and imagination.

Back in the setting, the fun has continued with our Colour Monster sensory tray, where the children have been exploring emotions through colour, as well as getting creative with paint 🎨

Following on from last weeks imagination making ‘orange juice and onion pie’ in forest school, the children have been busy this week by chopping and exploring real oranges and onions, using their senses to touch, smell and investigate 🍊 🧅

Our Flying Start and Playgroup children have had a wonderful week 💫

The children have loved exploring the outdoors as they collected natural resources to create their own ‘natural pizzas’ 🍕

They have also enjoyed lots of messy play and being creative by making their own colourful dance ribbons. They headed out onto the big yard to move, dance and play together 💃

🌿✨What a brilliant day at Holiday Club ✨🌿

This morning the children helped water the plants around the school, taking great care and showing lots of responsibility for their environment 💧

They then enjoyed a building competition, getting creative and working together, followed by some indoor games to keep nice and cool.

This afternoon they had a dress-up and dance party, showing off their best dance moves 🕺. Then they headed back to forest school where the children spent their time exploring and working together to build their very own ‘royal den’ 👑

It’s been a fantastic day packed with creativity, outdoor play and lots of smiles 😃

🌿✨Holiday Club✨🌿

The children had a lovely day in holiday club, making the most of the beautiful weather and our outdoor spaces.

They began their day outside, enjoying free play and participated in a very special moment, releasing our butterflies, which they have carefully watched grow from tiny caterpillars 🐛

They also enjoyed time in the sandpit, playing a variety of ball games in the shade and took part in a fun blindfolded taste testing activity 🍓🍭🥙

The children’s afternoon was spent in forest school where the children explored, played and continued their adventures in nature 🍃🌱

The children have enjoyed getting stuck into some hands-on outdoor play this week 🌿

Following their interest in digging, we created a variety of sensory digging areas for them to explore. In the mud, the children used tools to dig deep and investigate what they could find 🔎
In the sand, they used spades to dig, scoop and build their own wonderful creations with the dinosaurs 🦕
Then we used the soil, they enjoyed scooping and planting cress, using their imagination to create their own little gardens 🌱
