Every tutor at Primary Tutor Project is a qualified UK teacher. A trained teacher who has stood in a classroom and knows how children actually learn.

That matters more than most parents realise. A qualified teacher spots why your child is stuck, not just how to hand over the answer. They understand the curriculum, the common misconceptions, and how to rebuild confidence when it dips.

Between them, our team brings decades of classroom experience, examiner insight, and specialist training in areas like SEND, phonics, dyslexia and exam preparation.

POV: It's September and your child does their homework calmly and on their own.

No nagging. No tears. No sitting beside them for an hour just to get through it.

There are lots of things that help a child get there. One that parents tell us makes a real difference is the confidence-boosting lessons at PTP. A qualified teacher, a small group, and steady weekly practice give children the confidence to tackle work on their own.

Book their place now and your child walks into the new school year feeling capable, not anxious.

You've probably talked yourself out of tuition already.

"She's not struggling enough." "He'd hate it." "It's just more pressure, and online never works anyway."

I hear these every week. And nearly every one is a myth quietly keeping a child from the support that would help them thrive.

The truth? Most families come to us before there's a problem.

Most of our pupils are in Years 1 to 4. And good tuition doesn't add stress. It takes it away.

Swipe as I bust the 5 biggest myths parents believe about tuition. One of them might be the reason you've been holding back.

September spaces are open. Message me and I'll help you find the right teacher for your child.

You've searched online. There are hundreds of English tutors.

They all look qualified. They all sound experienced. Every profile says the same thing.

But how do you actually know which one is right for your child?

Here are the questions you should ask before booking. Read more primarytutorproject.com/how-do-you-find-an-english-tutor

Tuition isn't only for children who are falling behind.

Most of the families I work with come to us before that. They spot the small signs early. Homework turning into a battle. A capable child who keeps saying "I can't." Knowing the answer at home, then freezing in the test.

Sometimes all it takes is one hour a week, where learning is built entirely around your child. That confidence tends to carry into every school day.

Recognise your child in any of these? Send me a message and we'll have a chat.

This is exactly why we do what we do.

M started Year 6 struggling to believe in herself. Her mum hoped tutoring might give her confidence a lift. What happened went further than that.

Week by week, Callie and Sara got to know M, encouraged her, and gave her a safe space to make mistakes and learn. Her parents stayed in the loop the whole way, with regular updates and someone to turn to whenever M's confidence dipped.

Then came the SATs results M is over the moon about. As her mum put it, we gave her the confidence to show just how capable she is.

That is the real win. Not only the marks, but a child who finally believes in herself.

If you want the same for your child this year, our September tuition is open now. Small groups and 1:1, with qualified UK teachers.

You've booked the first lesson. Now you're wondering if your child will freeze, or clam up, or hate it.

They won't. Here's why.

No tests. No pressure. Just a qualified teacher getting to know your child, chatting, playing games, and quietly spotting what they already do well before working out where they need support.

By the end, your child feels relaxed and capable. And you get clear feedback on their strengths and their next steps.

Every September, my inbox floods with the same message. "My child's confidence has dropped and we need help."

By then, most of my tutors are already booked.

August is the quiet, clever time to sort it. You don't need to wait for a problem.

Starting the year with support keeps your child confident before any gaps grow.

Thinking about tuition this year? Message me and I'll help you.

Every parent wants the same thing. A child who feels capable, not defeated.

But somewhere between a busy classroom and homework at the kitchen table, a lot of children start to believe they "can't." They fall a little behind. The gaps grow. And school stops feeling good.

Our September clubs turn that around.

Small groups of five children or fewer, led by qualified UK teachers, where your child gets real attention, closes the gaps school moved past, and starts to enjoy learning again.

Clubs open this September:
βœ” Year 3 to 6 Maths and English
βœ” Year 3 to 6 Creative Writing
βœ” Year 9 to 11 IGCSE English

Give your child a calm, confident start to the year.

Good online tutoring doesn't feel like tutoring at all.

If you picture your child slumped over a worksheet, switched off and counting down the minutes, let me change your mind.

At Primary Tutor Project, learning happens on a shared screen where children draw, play and solve problems together. Groups are five or fewer, so your child joins in rather than hiding at the back. And a qualified UK teacher keeps it so engaging that the hour flies by.

That's the difference. A child who enjoys a lesson comes back to it week after week, growing in confidence each time.

September clubs and 1:1 tuition are open now. Visit our website to reserve your child's spot.
