We had lots of fun during our last week of term but we also had to say a sad goodbye to all our school leavers. We want to wish them well as they embark on their next adventure when they start school in September 👋 😘
We also want to say a huge THANK YOU for all the good wishes, cards & presents that we have received - they are very much appreciated 🥰 🎁
We hope you all have a great summer and look forward to seeing those of you who will be returning to nursery when we reopen on Monday 7th September.

Our school leavers Teddy Bear's Picnic was a big hit - the water play afterwards was very refreshing and great fun, the children loved getting each other as wet as possible and some of the teachers too! 🌞 🧸 🥪 🍪 🧃 🥰

Our summer holiday topic was a big hit with everyone - from looking at holiday transport to packing a suitcase, from working with numbers to listening to shells, from making beach pictures to cooling off in water - great fun was had by all with the weather to match! 🧳 🕶️ 🌞 ✈️ 🛳️ 🏖️

Everyone really enjoyed our topic on keeping healthy and looking after our teeth 🙂🦷🍓🍌🍉🍞🍟🍕🥛

We finished our topic on Australia by reading the book 'The Koala That Could', made lots of koalas in different ways, practised our numbers, made the Australian flag and tasted the Australian biscuits 'Tim Tam‍s' 😋 🐨 🇦🇺

Last week we started our topic all about Australia - making boomerangs, finding out where it is on maps & globes, looking at famous landmarks, finding out about the animals and their environments, tasting vegemite and recreating aboriginal art 🙃 🪃 🪘 🦘

Our butterfly release was closely followed by the emergence of a ladybird which was placed safely in our bug house 🙃 🐞 💕 😘 👍

This week we finally saw a butterfly hatch and we released it safely in the garden 🐛 🦋 👏 🥰
