Learning to perform with skill, confidence and precision!

Our Year 9 Drama students have been developing their stage combat skills, learning how carefully choreographed movements can create the illusion of action and conflict while keeping performers safe.

It’s been fantastic to see the girls rise to the challenge, demonstrating focus, physical control, teamwork and creativity as they bring their performances to life.

At Davison school, learning extends beyond the classroom. Opportunities like this encourage our girls to step outside their comfort zones, develop confidence and discover new talents — skills that will support them both on stage and beyond.

We Begin Here!

There’s still time to see our very own Year 9 student, Emily, take to the TEDx stage tonight!

Emily is a passionate youth advocate, championing the voices of young people and the next generation. She’ll be speaking at TEDxWorthing 2026 about the launch of Safe Havens, a project she helped create with fellow Davison students.

It’s a wonderful example of how we encourage our girls to find their voice, build confidence and turn their ideas into action.

- Tonight – Monday 5th October 2026
- Worthing Pavilion Theatre

Inspiring creativity beyond the classroom!

Our Design Engineering students are heading to the Victoria and Albert Museum in October for a day of creativity, discovery and hands-on learning.

With a 'Fashion for Performance' workshop exploring stage and screen costume, students will develop their creative thinking, problem-solving and design skills while being inspired by the museum’s incredible collections.

Learning, creating and having fun along the way!

Learning beyond the classroom!

Our Year 9 students have been making the most of the unseasonably warm weather this week as they took their Geography learning outdoors for some hands-on coastal fieldwork in Worthing.

The students have been investigating whether Worthing has enough protection from longshore drift, putting their geographical knowledge into practice as they collect and analyse data.

The photos show our students hard at work measuring pebble sizes and recording the length and height of the beach – practical skills that bring their classroom learning to life.

It’s wonderful to see our students learning together, asking questions and enjoying the opportunity to explore Geography in the real world!
