Calling all students - enter our competition by June 12th for the chance to see your design brought to life on our school tote bags.

A huge congratulations to Mrs Burgess, our Subject Leader for Citizenship Studies and a Teacher of History, for being crowned "Teacher of the Year" at the Worthing Community Awards.

Well done to these Year 9 students who have been working with the Commonwealth War Graves Commission to commemorate the 85th anniversary of the sinking of HMS Hood.

As part of War Graves Week, the students researched the men who lost their lives on HMS Hood in 1941, and the impact it had on the town as a whole.

They then presented their research at a community event held at school.

Calling all Year 9 and 10 students - there is still time to purchase tickets for our Roller Disco on Friday (June 5).

The deadline for tickets - which can be purchased via WisePay - is the end of the day tomorrow (Wednesday 3rd June).

Tickets are now on sale for our FODS Year 9 and 10 Roller Disco on Friday 5th June.

Tickets are £4.50 and available via WisePay.

Students must bring their own skates to guarantee skating. There will be limited skates to hire for £1.50 on the day (first come first served).

This is our first FODS Roller Disco and, if successful, we will organise more for other year groups.

Davison parents and carers - there is still time to enter a team in our FODS Quiz Night next week.

🌟 British Science Week 2026 – Winners Announced🌟

After a brilliant British Science Week (9–13 March), we were delighted to celebrate the winners of our student competitions.

Congratulations to the winning form in the Form Quiz - 9 Yellow.

And congratulations to our Year 7, Year 8 and Year 9 KS3 poster
competition winners, whose work showed fantastic creativity and scientific thinking.

On Thursday 30th April, the poster competition winners met with our Headteacher, Mr Keating, to present their posters and receive their prizes.

British Science Week also featured assemblies, quizzes, home experiments, Science Buskers, LRC displays, Oracy discussions and poster workshops. It was a great celebration of science across the school.

A huge thank you to our incredible Science Department, our fantastic Science Technicians, our Science Subject Champions, and our brilliant STEM Club for making the week such a success. And to our Headteacher and Griffin for supporting the resources and amazing prizes.
