Jack is another of our SAND Alumni now who previously engaged in some fabulous work experiences 🤘🏻

He has been in the Kitchen AND Front of house at Marine Gardens Restaurant

He is one multi-talented guy! 👏🏻

Well done Jack, you did brilliantly and the skills you have built have been incredible.

We are delighted to invite everyone to an upcoming exhibition at Sakala in Steyning.

‘Shisha and Reflections’ will be taking place during the Summer Holidays ☀️

Monday 10th - Saturday 15th August.
Monday will be open from 13:30am - 15:30pm
Tuesday - Saturday will be open from 12:00 - 15:30 each day.

👉🏻 SAKALA, 50 High Street, Steyning, West Sussex

Additionally, there is a private viewing where you can enjoy drinks and nibbles on Thursday evening from 18:00 - 20:00 🍷

Our Art and Photography pathways will be using this beautiful shop as a creative base, showcasing our ‘Shisha and Reflections’ work in a truly inspiring setting. All items they sell are sourced through a lifetime of travel to India, with the emphasis on fair trade and personal relationships with local craftsmen. So not only will you be able to come upstairs and enjoy our exhibition, you will also be able to browse downstairs if you wish.

We would love for you to come along, view the trainees’ work, and enjoy this relaxed and creative event!

The creativity has been wild at The SAND Project lately with our screen printing trainees ⚡️

They have been busy designing amazing prints, inspired by the menu at our (most delicious) East Toast Cafe 🍳

We will be framing these wonderful artworks ready to hang on the walls at the East TOAST Cafe. Be sure to pop in over the Summer to see them…
