Such a memorable experience today for our Year 5&6 footballers who travelled to Thamesmead to represent Sussex at the Regional Finals of the EFSA Pokémon 7-a-side Small Schools football. Whilst we didn’t get through to the nationals, every member of the squad gave their absolute best and made a fantastic contribution to the team. They showed such determination in each and every match and we’re incredibly proud of them all.

An enormous well done to our Year 5/6 footballers who were incredible at today’s Sussex Under 11 Primary finals. They came up against some amazing opposition and went to a nail biting final. Just we thought we couldn’t cope with any more tension, it then went to penalties … and we won! So proud of everyone involved in the team’s success - regionals, here we come!

Our new digging area in Early Years is proving a huge hit. As promised, a photo of our fabulous football team after the District Finals last week ... complete with their well-deserved gold medals!

We've managed to book the amazing David Croucher to come and do another magic show for us, this time it will be Christmas themed! Spread the word!

Breaking news .... they did it! Huge congratulations to our Year 5/6 football team who have won the District Small Schools Football Finals in impressive style, winning 5 matches and drawing one. Onwards to the next stage of the tournament in January!! A huge well done and thank you also to Mr Neve and Mr Rondeau.

Really proud of our amazing Year 5/6 girls' football team who competed against other Worthing schools yesterday at St. Andrew's. They worked brilliantly as a team - and look at those smiles still on faces even after playing on full length pitches! Well done girls and also huge thanks to Mr Neve for coaching and accompanying the team.

Ending the week with hot chocolate / fruit smoothie / strawberry milk for our brilliant children spotted being great active listeners. This week's group were much tidier and didn't get so much on their faces ... until some got a bonus sq**rt of cream on their noses!

Year 6 have been really enjoying exploring real World War II artefacts to bring history — and their writing — to life.

Thank you to our Year 6 children for creating the poppies for our Remembrance Day display - and thanks also to the art department of St. Oscar Romero's for the online art workshop that inspired their creativity. Year 1s also created lots of different art work to learn about and commemorate this important day.
