More reviews can be found on the Worthing Sing and Sign’s Google page. I’m so grateful busy parents find time to leave a review!

Graduation week is always a blast, can’t believe I’ve not managed this post yet!! Certificates and tears in equal measure as beautiful families move on! For some Sing and Sign was their first trip out with the baby -what an honour! Watching Singing and parenthood journeys is one of the things I’m so proud of when doing my job. Thank you everyone for my beautiful presents and cards, kind words and lasting memories! Bring on Autumn term when we are enrolling new families on term and little ones are moving up through stages for even more fun!

In week 8 for Stage 2 we carry on learning our phonics that we started in week 7. When I was attending Sing and Sign I found it so tricky but I love going over the signs with our families and embedding our learning. Getting the jump on phonics can only help long term and supports reading and language by cracking the code and link between letters and sounds. D for dog or Daddy, J for Jessie, M for Mummy, even V for Vicki 😏

In week 7 we cover “ouch” in stage 1. Ouch is directional we say, you move the sign to where it hurts. It breeds understanding in the moment!
A family of a Stage 2 little one have told me this term of a trip to A and E where their little one was having treatment and was telling the astonished doctors it was hurting. Now this is the power of sign 🥰

Welcoming everyone back and our little new starters was lovely last week! I’m always amazed by how they grow and develop in the breaks between half terms! Lots of fun was had and I love getting back to routine! Do you? ✨
