Watching each child's unique personality unfold is an incredible part of working with children. We must allow this unfolding to happen in its own time and way 💕
Take the example of a leaf bud in Spring; try to unfold it yourself and you ruin it. The bud needs sunshine, water and patience 🌷
Plants will not reach full fruitition without enough sunlight. It should fill us with a great sense of wonder and responsibility that for the child, we are the sunshine ☀️

Safer internet day is coming up on the 10th February and with that in mind we’d like to share some really useful links and information on how to keep your child safe online and how to talk to them as they get older about things they may see or hear.

We’ve recently been visited by our local MP Tom Rutland who was very pleased to meet some of the children and our very hard working staffing team. We had the opportunity to discuss the wonderful work we deliver in early years and Tom was also happy to take away our concerns over funding and support for our most vulnerable children and families. Thank you for taking the time to visit.

We made sure they were all wrapped up with coats, hats, gloves and scarves 🥰

As the Autumn term comes to an end our hearts are so full.
This term has been a journey of laughter, learning, and friendships. Watching your little ones grow, discover, and shine has been the greatest gift we could ask for 🎁

There were moments of pure joy, tiny hands creating big masterpieces, giggles that filled the room, and milestones that made us cheer! There were also challenges, but together, we faced them with patience and care 👏

To the families who trust us with their most precious treasures, thank you. Choosing Early Explorers means the world to us ❤️

To the children, thank you for teaching us as much as we teach you. You remind us everyday why we love what we do 🥰

We are so excited for 2026 and all the adventures it will bring. We cannot wait to see what we will create, learn and celebrate together 🩷

Father Christmas and his Elves came to visit the children at Early Explorers this week 🎅🎁❤️💚

We all had a wonderful time meeting our extra special guests ✨️

Despite the wind and rain, we brought plenty of Christmas cheer to the residents and staff at St George's Lodge Care home this afternoon ✨️

The children walked beautifully, holding a teachers hand and crossing the roads safely and sensibly.

When we arrived we had to remove our wet coats and high-vis vests which they did calmly and quietly.

We were taken into the lounge where the residents were awaiting our arrival and given a warm welcome. This was a little overwhelming for some of the children so they were cared for by a teacher.

The children sang their little hearts out and some of the residents joined in too! 🥰
It was a very magical experience for everyone involved 💫

Thank you to all you amazing parents, carers and grandparents for helping your child practise our christmas songs at home 🎶
And to my wonderful team for all their hardwork to make this week so special 🌟🎄🎅
