Some days I have to pinch myself that this is my job. 🤍

Today, my children aged 18 months to 8 years were playing with new friends, with nothing but nature and their imaginations to guide them. There was curiosity, creativity, laughter, and the freedom to explore.

Watching the older children naturally include the younger ones, seeing friendships blossom, and witnessing the magic that happens when children are simply given the time and space to play was truly special.

It felt like such a privilege to witness and a wonderful reminder that some of the most meaningful childhood memories are made in the simplest moments. 🌿✨

Just another reason why I love the holidays too, bringing different ages together 🤩

First day of the holidays, The Girls were in full force today.. I promise to be more present and update more this summer!!

When you see a childminder out and about, people can’t help but comment on things… “You’ve got your hands full!” 😅

More recently, when I took the children on the bus, a lady told me how wonderful it was to hear an adult chatting so much with the children.

And today we received another lovely piece of feedback from a member of the public 🥰

As we packed up to leave the beach, a lady came over to compliment the children on their impeccable behaviour. She said she’d been watching us and couldn’t believe how well they all played together, how calm everyone was, and how lovely it was to see the children looking out for one another.

As childminders, we put ourselves out there every day when we head off on our adventures. Sometimes it can feel like everyone is watching — so hearing kind words and positive feedback from time to time really means the world ❤️

I’m so proud of these amazing little humans 🥰
