Paige and Dan are such a special part of Curtain Call Academy, and I’m so lucky to have such a brilliant team around me. From teaching and creating to encouraging our students and making every class full of energy and fun — they give so much to our academy. 🎭

Today was a lovely reminder of just how far we’ve come, and how much there is to celebrate.

Three years as Children’s Performing Arts School of the Year… and an even better team to celebrate it with! 🏆✨

🏆 Today we had the absolute honour of collecting our Prestige Award for Children’s Performing Arts School of the Year 2026/27! ✨

And even more special… this is our THIRD YEAR winning this award in a row! 🥹💛

I headed along to the awards ceremony today with two of our wonderful teachers, Paige & Dan, who are such a huge part of what makes Curtain Call Academy what it is.

This award is a celebration of our incredible students, our amazing teaching team, and every parent who trusts us to help their children sing, dance, act, shine… and have fun! 🌟

Three years of recognition is something we’re incredibly proud of, but what makes us happiest is seeing our students grow in confidence, discover their talents and absolutely love performing. ❤️

A massive THANK YOU to every child, parent, teacher and supporter who has been part of our journey. We couldn’t do it without you!

🎭 WE’RE HIRING! 🎭

Curtain Call Academy is looking for a friendly, reliable After-School Club Assistant to join our team! ⭐

This is a casual, flexible role with no regular weekly commitment. We’re looking for someone who is available to step in and help cover staff sickness, holidays and occasional absences at our after-school Musical Theatre & Dance clubs.

✨ The role: • After-school clubs run weekdays between 3:00pm–4:15pm
• £15 per hour
• Casual/ad-hoc work — no guaranteed regular weekly hours
• Cover may be needed at short notice, so good weekday availability is important

✨ We’re looking for someone who: • Has experience working with children
• Is confident, friendly and responsible
• Has an Enhanced DBS (essential)
• Has First Aid and Safeguarding training (ideally)
• Loves working with children and has a positive, enthusiastic attitude
• Is reliable and able to occasionally provide short-notice cover

🎶 Our clubs involve singing, dancing, acting and lots of fun, so a background in performing arts, dance, childcare, teaching or similar would be a bonus — but most importantly, we need someone who is great with children!

💷 £15 per hour
