Podlings childcare

The children have been noticing all the bees in the garden and on our walks . We have been exploring a bee sensory tray and on our walk we took our bee identifier from Sussex wildlife trust out with us to try and find some different types of bee.

Going out for a walk with children can be so educational. Watching the bees busy at work in the blossoms and flowers. Standing under a tree and having blossom rain down on us like confetti and of course seeing the joy on a child’s face when they find a dandelion seed head to blow into the wind.

Fun sensory tray

Yesterday we enjoyed ‘The colour monster’ story together and spent time talking about our emotions. The children love choosing the monster that matches how they feel.

The sun is out, blossom is arriving and our work place today is at the beach. A beautiful world for the Podlings to explore.

We love being out in the fresh air but some days call for snuggling up indoors and sharing our favourite stories.
The Hygge feels are here today, our room is feeling cosy and autumnal, we can hear the rain on the windows and we have been enjoying some of our favourite Autumn books and story sacks.

Don't forget an afternoon chai tea for the grownups and some warm milk for the podlings ☕
