We're remodelling! Different name, same values. We believe in the power our children hold and strive to support each and every one of them to their full potential.

Over the next few weeks, we'll be able to share our stories with you and unveil our wonderful new partnership.

For now, we invite you invite you to read this powerful statement written by our founder, Kayleigh Rapson.

I will not apologise.

I am the type of person who picks up worms and snails from the middle of the pavement and puts them back in the grass. I once cried because a leaf looked lonely. Sometimes I think I care too much, but then I see the happiness that it brings to others and I know I care just the right amount. My kindness, compassion and empathy form the foundations of my business. My heart and soul are in this company and my passion drives it.

I know what it’s like to struggle through life trying to support children who are neurodiverse to fit into society. I saw it first hand with my mother and my brothers. She struggled endlessly to try and give them the very best she could, but she did not have help from outside sources, even when she asked. She didn’t have anyone to guide her, to support her and to make life better for her boys.

I built my business with one goal in mind: to help each and every child reach their full potential, but to do that, we have to support the whole family. It’s no good just working with a child because, ultimately, it’s not the child that needs to adapt- it’s society that needs to change their attitude towards children and adults with additional needs.

Society cannot be reached through individual children, we need to work on a larger scale. In order to make change happen, we need to extend our kindness, compassion and empathy to children’s family, to give them the courage to be advocates for their own children in the world. To give them the will to fight and to make a difference in their own communities.

Some of the parents I meet have been fighting against systems for so long with such limited support. My heart goes out to them. I am kind, compassionate and empathetic towards their plight. I support them above and beyond a typical business, school or educational facility would. Why do I do it? Because I genuinely care, and I know that some friendly words can be the difference between giving up and carrying on. A kind face can give them the reassurance they need to know they are doing well.

The result of this approach speaks wonders. My children excel in their environment and flourish in their education. Each child is treated as an individual and listened to and heard, just like their families. They access support they wouldn’t get in most other settings. My business is built on kindness, compassion and empathy and without these three things to structure our approach around, our business would be soulless and lifeless.

I will not apologise for showing kindness that goes beyond the ‘normal’ boundaries of a lifeless educational facility, I will stand up and speak for my families.
