This week is dinosaur week 🦖 🦕

Active in mind , heart and body - This morning we have read the story 'harry and his bucket full of dinosaurs', We then set up an activity table with paint and dinosaurs for the children to use their fine motor skills to stamp the dinosaurs into the paint and print the footprints onto the paper . The children sang ' stomp little dinosaurs stomp stomp stomp' 🦖

🐝Celebrating World bee day in pre school. Being creative making our own bee’s in the play dough. Talking about the importance of them and what they do. Tasting honey at snack time which has proven popular amongst the children. 🐝

Today we are celebrating world Bee day, the children have loved singing the ‘ here is the bee hive’ song! We made our own bees using play-dough and natural resources - the children had lots of fun and learnt all about bees 🐝

• Has a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years or equivalent
• Is passionate about working with children aged 0–5
• Can build strong, positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
• Works well as part of a supportive team
• Is enthusiastic, reliable and caring

After 15 years of memories, laughter and hard work, it is time to wish a very special colleague Sue a happy early retirement!

We would like to thank Sue for everything she has brought to the team over the years - her wisdom, kindness and sense of humour won't be forgotten!

We hope she enjoys the next chapter - she deserves every minute of it, we will miss her! Sue's last day will be 30.04.2026

Exploring our tinker tray gave lots of opportunities to promote language and understanding.

Promoting the phonological awareness pathway, emphasising key words, pausing for them to process and respond…

Our little ones were curious about filling and emptying, exploring using a containing schema.

We noticed that the containers would roll and made an interesting noise whilst rolling them back and forth.

Our sunflowers have started to grow! 🌻
We were excited to see 2 peeping out of the soil. 🌻🌻

We sprayed them with water and put them back into the sunshine ☀️

We went on an adventure to collect more tubs so we can each take a sunflower to grow at home 🏠
