🌾 Harvest Collection 🌾

Another wonderful example of our St Augustine’s school community coming together! 💛

On Monday, the children enjoyed a special assembly all about where our food comes from and the importance of being grateful for the food we have. 🍎🥕🌽

We then set the children a special challenge — to bring in different food items each day to help support members of our school community who may be in need. 🛒💛

And just look at the incredible amount of donations we have received! 😍👏

All of these wonderful donations will be made into food parcels for families and members of our school community who need a little extra support.

A huge thank you to all of our families for your generosity. Your kindness and support truly make a difference. 💛

☕💚 Next up… our Come Join Us Mornings! 💚☕

Each year group welcomed parents and families into school for our special Come Join Us mornings, with lots of delicious breakfast treats to enjoy together! 🥐🍪☕️

The mornings were held to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support, with all donations going directly to this wonderful charity. 💚

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our families, we are so proud to have raised over £200! 🎉👏

Go Team St Augustine’s! 💚🙌

🌟 What a busy first few weeks back! 🌟

We started the new school year with the exciting election of our new School Council members! 🗳️👏

Our children were given the opportunity to put themselves forward for the role by preparing and delivering a speech, sharing their ideas about the positive changes they would like to make in our school. 💡🏫

Each class then narrowed the candidates down to four finalists, before it was time for the children to have their say and cast their votes! 🗳️✨

We can’t wait to see what our new School Council achieves this year! 🌟

🎓💙 A very special goodbye to our wonderful Year 6s! 💙🎓

As another school year comes to an end, it's time to say goodbye to an incredibly special group of children.

Our Year 6s are a wonderfully unique year group, bursting with personality. Every single one of you has brought something special to our school, you have each left your own mark and made memories that will stay with us for years to come. 🌟

You have grown so much during your time with us, and we couldn't be prouder of everything you have achieved. While we're sad to see you leave, we know you are more than ready for the exciting adventures that await you at secondary school.

You are a year group that will not be forgotten anytime soon. ❤️

From everyone at St Augustine's, we wish you the very best of luck for the future. Keep believing in yourselves, work hard, be kind, and never stop being the amazing individuals you are.

Good luck, Year 6 – you'll always be part of the St Augustine's family! 🍎✨🎉

🏆💛 A special treat morning for our Yellow Team! 💛🏆

A huge congratulations to Yellow Team, who achieved the most house points in KS2 this year! 🌟👏

To celebrate their fantastic achievement, they enjoyed a well-deserved morning filled with games and fun with their teammates. 🎉 It was wonderful to see everyone celebrating their hard work, teamwork and positive attitudes throughout the year. Well done, Yellow Team – you've earned it! 💛✨

Now the question is... who will be crowned the winning team next year? 👀🏆

🚌✨ School trips✨🚌

🚒 Year 1 had a fantastic visit to the National Emergency Services Museum, where they learnt all about the important roles of our emergency services. They also travelled back in time to meet Jane, Samuel Pepys' maid, who shared fascinating stories about the Great Fire of London. 🔥📜 What an exciting way to bring their history learning to life!

🦋 FS2 also enjoyed a wonderful day at the Butterfly House. They loved seeing a wide range of beautiful butterflies and fascinating animals, making lots of exciting discoveries along the way! 🐍🦜🦋

What wonderful experiences for our children, creating memories while bringing their learning beyond the classroom! 🌟👏

🏛️⚔️ Year 4 Roman Day ⚔️🏛️

Our budding Romans had an amazing time stepping back in history! They enjoyed tasting a variety of Roman foods 🍇🫒🍞 and even worked together to build their very own version of Hadrian's Wall 🧱.

It was a fun-filled day packed with hands-on learning, teamwork and plenty of smiles. 😊 A wonderful way to bring history to life!
