Germany's Michael Jung and fischerChipmunk FRH held their cross-country lead to finish on a score of 23.0. Ros Canter and Lordships Graffalo finish on their dressage score of 23.4 for silver, while Laura Collett and London 52 add another medal to their collection with bronze on 28.0 👏

How exciting! I remember competing in the HOYS junior newcomer final with Nick in 2004!

Introducing Our Supreme of Show Judge: Nick Scholfield

For those of you who have been members for a while, you'll probably remember Nick from his showing years. He had an illustrious CV including titles at both HOYS and RIHS, with one of his most successful rides being the 143cm Show Hunter Pony, Chiddock Over The Limit.

Moving on from his jodhpur boots, Nick found a career as a professional jockey for almost 20 years, riding 800 winners including three victories at the Cheltenham Festival and multiple Grade 1 races. Nick retired as a jockey in April 2025 and now trains National Hunt horses from his yard in Lambourn, with over 50 charges in his care.

We're excited to welcome Nick back to the BSPS Summer Championships on Saturday 29th August.
