♥️ Macmillan Fundraiser ♥️
Our lovely handmade picture frames, which the children have created with lots of care and creativity, are now on display and available to take home in exchange for a small donation towards our Macmillan fundraiser. Every donation, no matter how big or small, is very much appreciated and will help support such a wonderful cause. 🥰
Thank you so much for your kindness and support, it really does mean a lot to us! ❤️

We’ve had another busy and fun-filled week of learning, creativity and plenty of opportunities to get active! 💛 The children enjoyed their dance class, developing their confidence, coordination and rhythm whilst having lots of fun moving to the music. We’ve also enjoyed plenty of dancing here at Roselodge, giving everyone the chance to express themselves, copy movements and simply enjoy being active together. 💃🕺
Our creative side has been busy too, as we’ve been working on a special piece of artwork to help raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. 🌸💚 This will be available from next week, and we’re so excited to share the children’s lovely creation with everyone and support such a wonderful cause.
With the lovely weather, we’ve made the most of our garden with lots of outdoor play, encouraging the children to explore, investigate, run, climb and enjoy the fresh air. We even took our learning outdoors with an outdoor writing activity, giving the children the freedom to practise their early writing and mark-making in a fun and natural environment. ✏️🌿
A wonderful week full of movement, creativity, fresh air, friendships and learning through play, just how we like it at Roselodge! 🥰🌿✨

🌿 A Morning of Discovery at Roselodge 🌿
This morning at Roselodge Childminding, we created our very own discovery bags! 👜✨ Inside each bag were little wooden pictures, which the children could choose for themselves and then carefully colour. 🎨🤎
The children loved making their own choices and deciding how they wanted their little wooden pieces to look. This simple activity encouraged creativity, imagination, fine motor skills, concentration and independence, while also giving the children the opportunity to express their own ideas and personalities.

Once their creations were finished, the children could place them into their discovery bags, ready to take them home and continue their own little journey of discovery. 🌿🔎

We then enjoyed a lovely vegetarian cooked dinner together, providing a relaxed opportunity for the children to chat, socialise and develop their independence at mealtimes. 🥕🥔🌱

A lovely morning of choosing, creating, exploring and discovering at Roselodge! 🤍🌿

A gorgeous walk to the canch this morning. We visited the library, bought some new hats from the charity shop for the setting and had our snack at the Aurora well-being centre. There were lots of rats around, in the canal and on the banks! Very questionable 🤨 but at least the children got to see them. 🐀 🥰
