🍁❤️ A New Term Begins at St Mary’s Preschool! ❤️🍁

The summer holidays have flown by, and we’re getting everything ready to open our doors and welcome our lovely St Mary’s families back! 🌰✨

We are delighted to be starting our Autumn Term on Wednesday 2nd September.

To all of our returning children and families — welcome back! We’ve missed you and can’t wait to hear all about your summer adventures. ☀️😊

And to all the new children and families joining the St Mary’s family, a very special welcome to you! 🌱 We know starting preschool can be a big step, and we’ll be here to make those first days as happy, relaxed and reassuring as possible.

The months ahead are going to be full of playing, learning, discovering, creating, making friends and having lots of fun along the way. 🖍️🍂🧸📚

It's a great opportunity for children to enjoy fun, hands-on building, coding and problem-solving activities while making new friends, building confidence and learning new skills in a welcoming environment. What an amazing morning we had on Tuesday with DB Animal Therapy 🐢🐇🦎🐀🐌🐔

A huge thank you to the lovely Charlotte for bringing along such a wonderful selection of animals for the children to meet and learn about. We were introduced to Pablo the tortoise, Mavis the rabbit, Basil the rat, Maoui the bearded dragon, Rango the chameleon, a hedgehog, two silky chickens, and two giant African land snails!

It was a fantastic hands-on experience that encouraged curiosity, confidence, and kindness towards animals.
Thank you, Charlotte, for another wonderful visit. We all had an amazing time! 💚

What a wonderful morning our little explorers had! 🌟

We took four of our children on a walk into town to deliver letters asking for raffle prize donations for our Summer Fair. We were so grateful to the lovely team at Max Spielmann, who were incredibly kind and generously donated a fantastic raffle prize. Thank you for making our children feel so welcome!

On our way back, we had another exciting surprise! 🚓 We stopped to look at a police car, and PC Sam kindly came over to chat with us. She showed the children inside the police car and let them see her handcuffs and ASP. It was such a special experience, and the children absolutely loved it. A huge thank you, PC Sam, for taking the time to make their day!

If any local businesses or members of our community would like to support our Summer Fair by donating a raffle prize, we would be so grateful. Every donation, big or small, helps us continue providing wonderful resources, experiences, and opportunities for the children at St Mary's Preschool.

Our little athletes had a fantastic time with Mini Athletics Doncaster, Worksop and Chesterfield this morning! They became busy post workers, delivering letters and parcels, jumping over fences, and making sure they didn't get caught by the guard dog! 🐶✉️📬

The children had so much fun while building their confidence, coordination, balance, and teamwork through imaginative play and lots of movement.

To finish the session, every child proudly stood on the winners' podium to receive a well-deserved sticker for all of their hard work and fantastic effort! 🏅⭐

A huge thank you to Lauren for another brilliant session. The children absolutely loved every minute! 💙
