🏃🏻‍♀️🏅During tomorrow's sports day the PTA will have a refreshment, stall and will be holding a 50/50 raffle draw. Please bring change where possible.

A gentle reminder that, for safeguarding reasons, NO items bought from the refreshments stall should be given to children taking part in the races.

Please read the information below and complete the form at the bottom of this post to be in with a chance to win a £100 voucher! If your child is currently in FS2 year 1 or year 2 and has a packed lunch you should register as this will ensure that all eligible funding is accessible.

We want to make sure that we are providing your child with the best education and support we can. Healthy school food can also help to improve pupils’ readiness to learn.

Families who receive certain benefits may be eligible for free school meals. Your child is eligible for free school meals if you’re in receipt of one of the following benefits:

Universal Credit with an annual net earned income of no more than £7,400.

Income Support

Income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance

Income-related Employment and Support Allowance

Support under Part 6 of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999

The guarantee element of Pension Credit

Working Tax Credit run-on (paid for the four weeks after you stop qualifying for Working Tax Credit)

Child Tax Credit (with no Working Tax Credit) with an annual income of no more than £16,190

Registering for free meals could also raise extra money for Holy Family to fund valuable support like extra tuition, additional teaching staff or after school activities EVEN if your child has a packed lunch or already gets free school meals in FS2 / Year 1 and Year 2.

This additional money is available from central government for every child whose parent is receiving one of the benefits listed above. It costs you nothing, just some time to complete this form.

To check if your child is eligible, we need information about you and your child. Please complete this form by Monday 1st June 2026. If you would like a paper version, please pop into the office. All completed forms will be entered into a prize draw to win a £100 voucher. Thank you so much for your support.

📢 PTA Meeting Reminder

We’re holding our next PTA meeting on Friday 8th May at 3:00pm at Holy Family School and would love to see as many parents and carers there as possible.

We’ll be discussing upcoming events, sharing a brief update on finances, and talking about our plans moving forward. It’s also a great chance to share your ideas and suggestions!

All parents, carers and staff are very welcome – we hope you can join us 😊

A very special thank you to one of our wonderful parents who kindly donated most of the stock — your support was hugely appreciated.

All money raised will go towards playground improvements for the children to enjoy 😊

Thank you to parents for supporting the Mothers Day flower sale.

We hope you enjoy watching them bloom.

We have had a couple of parents say they paid cash for the gifts and handed the money into school, but the PTA has no record of the order. If you are impacted by this email us at [email protected].

Apologies if this is a genuine error and please be courteous when talking to school staff or the PTA volunteers who all do this in our own time.

For this reason, we will not be accepting any more cash payments for any pre order PTA activity, such as booking disco tickets, mother's/father's day events for example.

We will only accept cash for certain after school sales. We will advise how to pay per event.

Remember, all of our events are advertised in the PTA notice board at the entrance to the school playground which will have a link for the online ordering system.
