Basic explanation of government funding.

If your child is 9 months before the start of a new school term (check out dates on council website) and you and your partner are working more than 16 hours per week then your child is probably going to be entitled to 30 free hours of childcare per school week from that term.

We allow you to stretch that funding to cover the full year that we're open. This means you can have 25 hours of free childcare every week.

If you work less than 16 hours per week; recieve universal credit and have a child over 2 then your child is probably going to be entitled to 15 hours per week free childcare every school week. We can stretch that to cover every week which equates to approximately 11 hours per week free.

We don't charge any extras at all so if you stay within your funded allowance then childcare with us is completely free. No food top ups and we provide all meals. Breakfast, morning snack, hot meal at lunch and cold tea. No asking for voluntary contributions for outings, we fund all outings. We will never ask you for anything extra other than hours outside of the funding. Which are charged at £6 per hour.
Free childcare for us, is actually free.

However there are cut offs to the funding (government based). You must apply before or at the beginning of the term. You can't decide 3 weeks into a term that you want funding for that term. If you miss cut offs you have to wait 3/4 months until the next term. We can't change that.

We can check your eligibility and give you an instant answer with your code for 30 hours, or with a few details for 2 year olds 15 hours.

The cut off is Wednesday and we have 1 rare space due to a change in circumstances. Please get in touch urgently if you're interested in the space.

Today we celebrated Jake's birthday with a party. We had a disco with action songs, balloons, bubbles, games, stories and party food. All of the kiddies had a wonderful time.
We're all so lucky that Jake gets to spend his days with his Mammy and Grandma and make amazing friends along the way.

Good things happen on the farm when the cold weather arrives. The cows, horses and tractors come in!
