🍂🎃 Autumn Adventures in Talkers & Pretenders! 🎃🍂

We’ve been busy exploring some lovely autumn treasures! The children have enjoyed investigating conkers and pumpkins, using their senses to explore different textures, shapes, sizes and colours. 🍂🧡

Today, during our active start session, we enjoyed reading "The Colour Monster" and explored the various emotions it presents. We discussed why we feel these emotions, which led us to listen to different pieces of classical music. We then shared what emotions we thought each piece sounded like, we had a wonderful time dancing around the room, expressing ourselves in ways that connected with those feelings. It was a fun and engaging experience!

We’ve had lots of fun, getting messy and exploring through our activities this week! 😍

🍪 We’ve been busy baking biscuits, getting involved with mixing, rolling and decorating our yummy treats.

🍓 We made our own fruit salad, exploring all the different colours, smells, tastes and textures of the fruit.

♻️ For Recycling Week, we enjoyed some junk modelling and got creative with different boxes and recyclable materials. We also read Maisy’s Recycling Truck and talked about recycling and looking after our environment. 🚛♻️

🫧 We’ve also had lots of sensory fun making slime! The children loved getting their hands stuck in and exploring its stretchy, squishy texture. 😂

It’s been another fun-filled week in T&P, with lots of learning, exploring, creating and, of course, getting a little bit messy along the way! 💕✨
