We have been holding our enrolment sessions this week to prepare our students for starting their courses with us.

Invites have been emailed out to students with details of their slots (please check your junk/spam folder.) Don't worry if you are unable to locate your email - you can call into college at any of the following times to complete your enrolment.

Friday 28th August:
Creative Design, Digital, Business, Hair and Beauty, Catering, Sport and Public Services - between 8.45am and 12.45pm
Construction and Engineering - between 1.45pm and 3.45pm

Tuesday 1st September:
All course areas - between 1.30pm and 3.45pm

We’ve had a brilliant second day of Enrolment Week, with the focus being on our new learners for Public Services, Hair and Beauty, Catering and Hospitality and Sport.

Enrolment continues tomorrow, with sessions taking place for students joining the following subject areas: Construction and Building Services (Plumbing and Electrical).

As we look ahead to the start of a new academic year, this week gives us the opportunity to take a step back, reflect and prepare for the year ahead.

Our 300-strong staff team is taking part in a programme of sessions designed to ensure we are ready to give our new and returning students the very best start when they join us next week.

Principal and CEO Mark Fell kicked off the week by sharing the college’s priorities for the year ahead and launching our new five-year Strategic Plan. He also introduced our new college values:

Belong. Perform. Innovate. Connect. Inspire.

Staff then took part in an inspiring session with Dr Paul Redmond on Navigating the Multigenerational College, with further sessions taking place throughout the week focusing on Safeguarding, Personal Development, Inclusive Practice, and Teaching, Learning and Assessment.

Working in Further Education means continually learning, adapting and staying ahead of the curve. This week is an important opportunity to come together, share ideas and make sure we are the very best we can be for our learners.

Because ultimately, everything we do is about helping our students to thrive, succeed and fulfil their potential.

We’re ready for the year ahead! 🙌
