Moresby Woods Pre-School🌟🌟

Over the past week, we have enjoyed welcoming all of our preschoolers back after the well deserved 6 weeks off! ❤️

We spoke about our families and who lives in our houses. We also spoke about what we look like while completing our self portraits and all about me’s. 💙

We have enjoyed learning about our feelings and emotions that we may feel when starting a new adventure. The feelings we discovered were: happy, sad, loved, confused, calm and angry. We then spoke about what makes us feel each of these things and we had answers such as “my mummy makes me happy” and “it makes me sad when daddy goes to work”. ☺️💙❤️

We also then went conker picking, to use them in our autumn tuff tray. We found 4 conkers and we talked about what the feel, look and smell like. 🍂

Happy Hours Nursery Seaton-Pre School
This week we welcomed our new pre schoolers and existing pre schoolers back after the summer holidays. We have used this week to explore our room, meet our new friends and start to settle back into our routines. Our friendship tree has started to blossom with our friends and will continue to grow in the next few terms.

Happy hours Seaton- Toddler room.
This week, we have been focusing on learning about ‘the hungry caterpillar’. We have done multiple tuff trays including fine motor activities and feeding the caterpillar the food. We have also loved colouring pictures using our creativity and reading the hungry caterpillar story.🐛💙🥰

Happy hours nursery- Seaton💛
Whilst learning about bees, we have included some baking into our learning by making bread in the shape of a ‘bee’. We have also had fun doing bee printing pictures using potatoes and having lots of time outside hunting and identifying bees, leading to a conversation about the colour and different sizes of them we saw.🐝💛

Happy hours nursery- Seaton💛
Over the past week in the toddler room/ pre-school, we have continued to explore the topic ‘minibeasts’ closely looking and learning all about bees. We have enjoyed engaging in sensory trays and hunting in the sand tray for bees. We have also enjoyed feeling different textures including rice and textured paper that gives off a honeycomb affect, this then lead us towards reading the story about bees and honey, which we were very interested in.🐝🍯💛🐝🍯💛🐝🍯💛🐝🍯💛
