A huge well done to this weeks Seaton Stars! Well
Done to those winning awards out of school and to Year 2 with the highest attendance! Well done to Sullivan who won 💯% attendance this week!

We also celebrated Mrs Stuart’s retirement with wonderful memories, songs, poems shared by each class! We wish Mrs Stuart a wonderful retirement, you will be hugely missed!

Graduation fun for our amazing little stars! ✨🎓 What a wonderful way to celebrate an amazing group of children. They’ve grown in confidence, kindness and curiosity, and we’re so excited to see all the amazing things they’ll achieve next. 💛🌟

Today, we were delighted to welcome Mike Milner and his dog, Red, who visited us to share Mike’s fantastic new book about his beloved Labradoodle and his many adventures. The children thoroughly enjoyed listening to stories of Red’s mischievous escapades and learning about his funny little quirks. It was a wonderful session that inspired lots of smiles, laughter and enthusiasm for reading.
A huge thank you to Mike and Red for such a lovely visit! ✨

Safeguarding is always a priority at Seaton Academy, and we were delighted to welcome Maryport Rescue back to speak to our children about staying safe around water.

The team shared vital lifesaving advice, including how to contact the Coastguard in an emergency, how to use throw bags and flotation aids to help someone in difficulty, and why you should never enter the water to attempt a rescue. The children also learned that the sea, lakes and rivers are much colder than swimming pools, making open water far more dangerous than many people realise.

A huge thank you to Maryport Rescue for delivering such an engaging and important session. We hope all of our families have a fun, safe, and happy summer by the water. 💜
