🌿 We need your help to transform an outdoor space at NCW 🌿

We’re looking for local businesses to support an exciting volunteering project at New College Worcester.

Together, we want to transform an unused outdoor area into a welcoming, accessible wellbeing and sensory space for our students who are blind or vision impaired. 🧡

This new space will provide opportunities for relaxation, social connection, sensory engagement and quiet reflection — helping to support wellbeing, confidence and independence beyond the classroom.

We’re currently looking for support with:

🌱 Gardening and planting
🪵 General outdoor improvements
🧹 Clearing and preparing the area
🎨 Painting and practical tasks
🌿 Donations of plants and gardening items

Whether you can give a few hours, a full day, materials, skills or expertise, your support could help create something truly special for our students.

🛒 Just a few days left to support NCW at Waitrose Worcester London Road! 🧡

New College Worcester is taking part in the Waitrose Community Matters scheme, and we need your votes before 30 June.

Every time you shop in store, you'll receive a green token at the checkout. Simply pop it into the NCW voting box and help us secure a share of the available funding.

Your support will help us continue providing specialist opportunities, resources and experiences for young people who are blind or vision impaired, helping them build confidence, independence and brighter futures.

✨ Sound Bath at New College Worcester ✨

Take some time out to relax, unwind and restore your wellbeing at one of our upcoming Sound Bath sessions.

Immerse yourself in the soothing sounds and vibrations of singing bowls, gongs and other instruments, designed to help promote relaxation, mindfulness and a sense of calm.
Whether you are new to sound baths or have attended before, these sessions offer a wonderful opportunity to pause, recharge and focus on your wellbeing in a welcoming and peaceful environment.

Our amazing team of New College Worcester staff have been out training together ahead of this year’s Worcester City Run

Whether you’re a seasoned runner, occasional jogger, enthusiastic walker, or simply looking for a personal challenge, the Worcester City Run is a fantastic event with an incredible atmosphere. Every mile helps support the life-changing work of NCW, enabling blind and visually impaired young people to develop confidence, independence and skills for life.

We’re already building a brilliant Team NCW, but there’s still time to sign up and be part of it!
