Over the years, through the need for more space, these plaques were covered up. It feels poignant to unveil them once again at a time of great upheaval for us and be reassured that, despite all the change, our passion and approach remain strong and will remain firmly at the centre of what we do.

After years of wonderful memories, muddy boots, outdoor adventures and countless moments of discovery…..
Nurture Kindergarten is moving to its new home at the former Natural Therapy Centre at The Fold, Bransford.
This isn't just a new location; it's the beginning of an exciting partnership built on shared values: a love of nature, community, wellbeing and giving children the freedom to learn through exploration.
The Fold provides even more opportunities for nature-led learning, woodland adventures, meaningful connections and the nurturing environment that has always been at the heart of what Nurture Kindergarten offers.
We are so excited for both familiar and new faces to be welcomed to this beautiful new setting, and begin creating the next chapter together.
Here's to new beginnings, new adventures and a place where childhood can truly flourish in Nature.
Nurture Kindergarten
Even as big things change around us, one thing stays the same: our children’s boundless creativity.
As our kindergarten is being dismantled to prepare for our move to our new home, this temporary wall became a giant, blank canvas. What started as a plain construction barrier is now a vibrant tapestry of handprints, paint drips, hearts, and colour; a beautiful celebration of our journey together.
Creativity is at the very heart of everything we do at Nurture. Art isn't just an activity for us; it’s how our children process big transitions, express their emotions, and leave a little bit of magic behind.
Our physical walls may be coming down, but the imagination, spirit, and love created here are coming right along with us to our new site.
At Nurture, our whole approach to early childhood is built on nuance. We don’t force children into rigid boxes, micro-manage their journeys, or expect them to feel just one thing at a time. We practice radical acceptance: meeting children exactly where they are, validating their full emotional spectrum, and honouring the complex ways they process change.
And right now? We’re practising that exact same philosophy on ourselves.
Leaving our home of 11 years brings a deep, genuine sadness. It’s okay to grieve a space that held a decade of mud pies, first steps, quiet discoveries, and years of unconditional connection. At the same time, we feel a radiant, bubbling excitement for our next chapter.
In a world that constantly asks us to pick a side- happy or sad, ready or scared- we are choosing the nuance. Holding both grief and joy isn't a contradiction; it’s just being human.
Just as we teach our children that big feelings can comfortably sit side-by-side, we are holding room for the sadness of saying goodbye, right alongside the magic waiting for us.
Change isn't black and white. It’s a transition, and just like our children, we’re riding the wave together, step by step.

Time in nature is inherently nurturing. These sessions offer a relaxed space to play and explore for dads and father figures looking to build connection with their little ones outdoors.
A no-pressure space to connect, talk honestly, and support each other through the highs and lows of parenthood.

Moving is bittersweet - it’s hard to say goodbye to such a beautiful space, but it’s bringing such joy to reconnect with some of our first families, laugh over shared memories, and hear how much the Nurture community means to them, still. We never forget a family, and will take all of those memories with us as we continue our journey at our new sites. 💚

Could you lend a hand? 🌿
This summer we're moving Nurture to The Fold — which means saying goodbye to our much-loved home at Top Barn. We, and so many of you, built this place with our own hands eleven years ago, and now we really need your help to take it apart and carry it with us.
Craig, our carpenter, is handling the tricky bits, but there's plenty more to do:
- dismantling
- denailing
- loading trailers
- moving resources.
No experience needed; just bring your own gloves, and we'll bring the refreshments.
We're asking for hands over the next few weeks, weekdays and weekends alike.
Come for an hour or stay the day — every little helps (sorry Tesco).
