🥋 WELCOME TO CARTER’S MARTIAL ARTS ACADEMY 🥋

We’ve been working behind the scenes on something very special, and we’re finally ready to share it with you.

This video gives you a little glimpse into what Carter’s Martial Arts Academy is all about — the training, the people, the atmosphere and, most importantly, the community we’re building together.

From beginners taking their very first steps, to students pushing themselves further every week, there’s a place for everyone here.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part in the filming, and to our videographers for capturing the academy so brilliantly. ❤️

This is CMAA.

And we’re only just getting started. 🥋

Yesterday was another fantastic FREE Women’s Self-Defence Session 🥋❤️

A huge thank you to every woman who came along, supported one another, and stepped outside their comfort zone. The strength, laughter, and encouragement in the room were amazing to see.

You don’t need experience. You don’t need to be super fit. You just need the courage to take that first step.

💪 Empowered women empower women.

Our FREE Women’s Self-Defence Session runs on the last Saturday of every month, and we’d love to welcome you too.

Whether you’re looking to build confidence, learn practical skills, meet like-minded women, or simply do something for yourself, this session is for you.

🥋 FREE Women’s Self Defence Session 🥋

We run this FREE women’s self defence session once a month and would love to spread the word ❤️🖤

If you know anyone who may benefit from joining us, please let us know so we can book them onto the session. It takes place on the last Saturday of every month.

We make no money from these sessions — we simply want to help raise awareness, build confidence, and give something positive back to the community.

If you’ve ever thought about trying self defence, this is your sign 💪

You do NOT need to be super fit or experienced — just willing to turn up, learn, and support one another in a safe and welcoming environment.

Spaces are limited as we keep the classes smaller to ensure everyone gets the best possible support and experience.

This Mental Health Awareness Week, remember that martial arts is about more than kicks and punches. 🥋❤️

At Carter’s Martial Arts Academy, we believe training should build confidence, resilience, focus, discipline, and a sense of belonging. Sometimes the biggest strength is simply showing up — and checking in on the people around you.

Whether you train for fitness, self-defence, stress relief, confidence, or community… you are welcome here.

A simple conversation can make a huge difference. 💬
