Pirouette Shetland Stud

A successful NPS Summer Champs and the last two HOYS qualifiers and this boy (Elsonway Lunar Equinox) smashed it.... he may not have got his HOYS ticket, it was close, but the way he has grown with Ella from the pony who couldn't concentrate and focus to having two highest ride marks!!

A pull of first at NPS Champs, but a little 'jump to the left' 🕺 in the conf section saw him finish 2nd, only one mark behind first ...so near and yet so far...

Yesterday at Stoneleigh again he and the highest ride mark, only this time he pretended to be some sort of crab in the conf 🤔, i mean had he been in the dressage ring it could almost have been a half pass!!!! He still managed to land 4th though and was highest placed Shetland below three Exmoors even with his impersonations!

Watching these two grow together this season has been fantastic...if only it were still June....

A fabulous two days at RI 😍. The boy (Elsonway Lunar Equinox) and Ella did a grand job in the ring of twenty three finalists with the class going to five Dartmoor, one Shetland, (well done Briar Puzzle) and two Exmoor.

A somewhat 'interesting' drive home though that involved lots of laughter (some hysterical), several choice words (apologies Ella) and was equivalent to me driving from home to Aberdeen. My satnav is currently on a final warning!! 🙈🤔😅

I love the babies you simply walk up to, put the Headcollar on for the first time and they don't even bat an eyelid... well done Drama 🥰

I could honestly not be more proud of this pair at the National Shetland Performance Show. Ella has worked so hard and her achievements are so well deserved.

With some big events upcoming he was only entered in two classes and they smashed it 😍

If I could have chosen a win it would have been the NPS Silver Medal 🤷 so to win it on his first attempt, I must admit there was a slightly wet eye when news reached me 🤗

Going into their first full novice season, they have brought home quite a collection of tickets so far and we are loving watching them have fun together ...

Well foal number two this year) and Piebald number four in succession) arrived last weekend, a huge c**t that has just the most perfect heart above his hoof ♥️

A madigan squeeze was required (Thank you Tracey for being at the end of the phone at 1am!!!), but he is flourishing now and he has dad's head too 😍

'They've only done it, Quinn (Elsonway Lunar Equinox) and Laura Wells qualified for RI today on their first attempt 😍❤️ whoop whoop, 🎉🎉💃 love my boy, looking forward to it already.

When you are expecting a black, a skewbald, maybe chestnut, but no, this little one has thrown back to her ggs: Finnister Pluto. The only Piebald line buried deep in her pedigree 😊

My 3rd Piebald foal in a row and my fourth out of the last five foals, all to black stallions!

This little girl has taken some unfolding but she's squared up now and definitely has mum & dad's amazing temperaments 😍

No PH test required.... 🙏
