We are immensely proud of what this year group have achieved and their contribution to the King’s Community.

Their hard work, determination and commitment throughout their journey has truly paid off, and it has been wonderful to see them celebrate their success together. We look forward to welcoming them back as Sixth Formers in September, alongside new students who will be joining us.

With grade 9 being the most frequently awarded grade at King’s this year, pupils were thrilled to finally have their moment with the giant 9, after being inspired by previous year groups.

Congratulations to our Fifth Form pupils on another impressive set of GCSE results! 🎉

This year, 22% of all grades were awarded at Grade 9, with nearly two thirds of all grades at 9–7. Grade 9 was the most frequently awarded grade, with 42% of all grades at Grade 8 or above.

Head of Foundation, Ben Charles, said “These results reflect another year of strong academic achievement, complemented by the many opportunities our students have embraced across the school’s broad programme of sport, creative, co-curricular and enrichment activities.”

A huge thank you to our parents and staff for their support throughout the year. These results are a testament to the hard work and determination of our pupils, alongside the encouragement, care and guidance of our families and staff.

Lower Years Sporting Success! ⚽🏏

A huge well done to our pupils for some fantastic sporting achievements this summer!

Oscar represented ISFA England U14 at his first national camp in Worksop, playing against high standard academy sides. Competing against players a year older, Oscar and his team finished second in their group after a strong tournament.

Theo S, Francis C and Stan S celebrated success with the U13 Colwall Cricket team, being crowned Herefordshire County Champions. They then progressed to the ECB South West of England & Wales Regional Finals, beating Penarth to finish in the top 16 in the country.

A fantastic set of achievements and a great reflection of the commitment and talent of our pupils. Well done to all! 👏

33 Upper Remove Geography pupils enjoyed an outstanding week of fieldwork and enrichment in the French Alps, bringing their GCSE studies to life through first-hand experiences of glaciation, Alpine landscapes and the impacts of climate change.🏔️

From exploring the ice caves of the Mer de Glace and studying the Bossons Glacier, to taking in spectacular views from Aiguille du Midi (3,842m), pupils had plenty of opportunities to see their classroom learning in action.

Alongside the fieldwork, there was time for a luge ride, swimming and volleyball at Lake Passy, mountain walks and some increasingly competitive carpark cricket!

The pupils were a real credit to the school throughout the week, showing fantastic enthusiasm, curiosity and behaviour.

A brilliant week of learning, adventure and unforgettable experiences in the Alps!

What an exciting time for our King’s pupils as they take their next steps!

We’re delighted to celebrate a diverse range of destinations, with pupils heading to some of the UK’s leading universities, while others embark on prestigious degree apprenticeships, and others are ready to travel, explore the world and begin new adventures.

Whether university, an apprenticeship or another pathway, there is no single definition of success. What matters is finding the route that is right for each individual.

Every journey is different, and we’re incredibly proud of all our pupils and the futures they are beginning to shape.
